This was just what I wanted to see. T2 air used effectively against Hoplites. Good job.

Thanks for the review FunkOff!

About the negative points:
1. I need this pgen, but as I build much more engineers much earlier with my actual BO then I did at start I could also build this Pgen with my engineers, I would reach T2 at the same time or faster and my ACU would be fighting earlier... thanks for the advice.

2. My scouting was good enough (only thing I could do is building 2 scouts before I order the 4th engineer instead of one before and one after). I usually send tanks to my most vulnerable stuff and scout to prevent wasting tanks. That works well, the problem was that I forgot to send this tank down to my engineer like I usually do.

3. Trapping his commander would have been hardly possible and Janus are cheaper vs. ground if you also notice their AA abilities. If you build Stingers you need interceptors in addition + they're useless vs. T2 flak. I only feared T2 flak and interceptors so why should I go for Stingers (which are much better vs. T1 and ACUs)?

4. Hmm. I had 5500 HP while he had a lot Hoplites and his ACU near. I was in a superior position so why should I risk a draw if I don't need to and if it's even not sure that I will ever get close enough for OC use again?

5. Yeah indeed. Didn't realize he got stealth, totally forgot about this little evil upgrade sad.gif

6. I had the energy, but not the mass. So why should I get rather useless upgrades?
T2 PD is as pointless vs. stealth Hoplites as cannon upgrade is.

7. Yeah I forgot about this one as I was busy with bomber micro sad.gif

8. = 6.

9. I didn't bother about this. I saw that he did a last hope "all or nothing" attack so I focused completely on defending this as I would have bombed his base with my 12 Janus leaving nothing but ashes anyway if he didn't sacrifice his ACU.

This is how you beat fast Janus : Spam t1 land. No air or AA needed on Finns. Just kill all his mexes. Don't even include AA when your armies get bombed. You will just putproduce him and his ACU can't really do a shit vs your ACU+Tanks.

No AA... and why exactly shouldn't I kill your base with Janus and your army/ACU with T2 gunships and T2 PD?

It's very easy to counter Janus if you know that your opponent goes for them... just spam interceptors.

A very early ACU rush might be lethal, too.

Very nice - I learnt a lot.

There are two things I don't understand:

1) why does TAG_rock upgrade _2_ mexes while the FBs are eating him alive?

2) nobody raids a lot - only 2 labs total. Why? I raid a lot more, and have lataly started to suspect some of it is a waste. This seems to be a confirmation of that, but any intelligent thoughts woul be appreciated! biggrin.gif

And finally a tribute to TAG_rock, who endured many similar napalm showers. biggrin.gif

2) Raiding can be lethal, but it could also be a total waste of resources if you're not watching your LABs in the wrong second or if your opponent prepared for them...
