Yes, radar and lack of good scouting was my error. Also i should have paused my factories sooner and started pgens as soon as i saw mine been killed. Fun game though!

That snipe at the end sucked though, game should have been longer, although at that point he was ahead anyway.

he was only ahead because you didn't kill the pgens next to your base ;p

If you killed those in any reasonable amount of time he would have been fucked.

A quick newbie question. Many times in the game you had commanders next to your enemies factories. Why not reclaim them, rather than shoot them? It's faster and gains you metal, and short range is not a problem since you're already next to one.

Actually, another newbie q. A lot of the game you spend more mass than you make and are at zero reserves. Wouldn't it be better to stop constructing something and accomplish the rest faster?

1. Yes.
2. Yes, but no body is perfect and it's better then wasting mass or not using mass fast.

Also, you want to have more productio power than your economy can supply, so you can use reclaim mass asap to reinforce your troops.

Actually, you don't gain anymore mass by reclaiming instead of destroying. IE: While you are damaging the building you are destroying, you gain no mass. You only get some once the building is destroyed and you start reclaiming proper.
Also, reclaiming damage is not necessarily faster. You hurt buildings at the same rate you build them. This means reclaiming artillery, for example, is next to useless. Reclaiming walls, is a fantastic idea.
