Rock and DF are one of the 4 best players in the game, mephy and loui are the best but rock and pebble are able to beat them withouit any regen. who cares what they do vs noobs cause they can experiment and they will win either
and one thing RandomNoob, TAC has told me it can be used as its not a cheat. Everyone can use it and the attack move etc, so why would it be banned etc and if it is and people will be banned they should put it on Forums GPGNET. Somehting banned would be using LazerCannon (CybrenCommander) before 5 min, i mean thats a cheat and u will be banned bcz u need to know how to use it. RegenField, attack move etc can be used as everyone can do it. So lets stop talking about this and get top 10 or 20 and face me

Whatever, it makes no difference whether gpg actually bans these things. You know they are stupid. I know they are stupid. This game still has a base of players who love it. Not many, but enough for it still to be fun. Trying on lame stuff like this WILL damage it. People WILL get pissed off and leave. You can sit there and say they won,t but its clear from the response to this thread that they will and already are. EDIT: also, randomnoob? Really creative

you two are like two five year olds, you cant see that by you using regen, it will make other players use it just to have a chance of beating you? grow up.
Regen is like polish whores , very cheap but VERY GOOD! i dont find any tag players as the one of the best in this game... most of them are just shallow... but ROCK is one fine player

My 2 cents. If players started using regen more then fact of the matter is that would limit the game to a single race. Players look up to the players at the top of the ranking ladder and if they see those players using regen, they use regen and next thing you know.... there is only one competitive faction. Dragonforce is a good enuf player to not have to use it and to be honest, that has disapointed me some.
Im happy with the community stance on using the imbafield and wish to see it continue. There is no patch, will be no patch so we have to make the best of a great game and using exploits and broken upgrades is only gonna hurt a already dwindiling community.

In Sreet Fighter super turbo there's this totally awesome guy called Akuma. At the top level he's so good it's not even worth playing any other guy, that would almost be like forfeiting beforehand.
Well later he got banned, it's not very fun to just play and face the same character over and over again. In the us it was banned from all tournaments.
In japan he got a 'soft bann', together with another character (I don't play street fighter so don't quote me on this) which means every pro player never played them. Just out of cheer respect to the game, the money and their opponents who just wanted a good game.
Of course some jackass-player came up from the bottom using the "forbidden" characters but they were always beat down and the status que was kept.
This is by no means an attack on you Pebble, you can beat any player without the use of regen, and there are plenty of other exploits, bugs and imbalances to abuse if you know how.
Personally I think it's sad we abuse like we do...
