hmm, lets start from the buttom: - "Blitzkrieg is headline word describing force concentration of tanks, infantry, artillery, air power and rapid speed to break through enemy lines, and once the latter is broken, proceeding without regard to its flank."
So lets see: land-/airbased attack to break enemy lines, that is fast this was a mostly seabased game (most of the ress went there), which lasted forever. There was no line or flank here. So its the opposite of a Blitzkrieg.
- cptcrowbar made no effort at all to stop the first landattack on his base. he stoped his ACU upgrade at 90%, just to let his ACU idle instead. he didnt build a single, small defensive army and just gave it up.
- long pointless seafight with single or dual t2 ships, which were pounded quickly
- replay stops at an indicisive point in minute 47
Actually, apart from the "WTF", there were not really any thoughts in this comment, only facts. Or is the aprupt end in the middle of the game a thought? I think not
This was good to watch, it does end suddenly but it was surely over by then. Shows how simply not following through with your advantage can cost you the game.
I think cptcrowbar made crucial mistake never building cruisers. By t=19m he had strategically winning position. He started building t2 fleet and could finish Dealthy shortly. Lack of cruisers in fleet (read intelligence and AA as well as long range harassment capability) is bad mistake. Also bad strategic planning and bad eco management. No suprise he lost this game eventually.

heh just seen this, you make a nice comparison with WWII except if you saw the chat of this game no way Deathly would be Churchill or Roosevelt(maybe Stalin tho)
