Aeon kiting...
I came into this game knowing that i should rush t2 but i didnt really have the BO for it and i was kinda cocky.
Now first thing i want to know is how did i lose?
I already know that i totally failed at going T2 or gun or anything because i was being constantly pressed by aeons "imba" range.
And im also suprised how his blob kept getting so big, i had bombers who were getting 10-20 kills(i am aware that i was in a position to jester snipe him)
I also had my commander to trpple vet but my t1 blob was totally useless against the usual aeon kiting crap.
I am also aware that i should have built more medusas and more engies to reclaim which is something i tend to forget alot and i also built way too many facs because i was depending on the top mexes and some reclaim income but i forgot to wall top mexes and retreat my engies post-13661-1143531603.gif
Overall i dont know what to do in this situation again aside from T2.
I would like a review please and some comments on how i can improve against aeon on theta.

Damn.

His aurora micro was impressive.

Overall I think there was a combination of factors at play. As you mentioned you needed medusas in a big way. Also DnD managed to capture most of the wreckage fields and consistently held them. In this way I believe he managed to out produce you.

there were several moments then when birk could have pulled off a pincer and squashed his army ! but he only moved one of his armies in ! i was almost screaming at the scream then sad.gif .. but still, looked like a gg, nice play by the aeon

What i thought too...

Plus he reclaimed wrecks, these are a free army! --> he reclaimed more than the bombers destroyed

The best solution I would say is to produce 2 t1 artillery per mantis. position your mantis in the fornt to take all the damage, and directly attack. While this is happenning, your artillery should be shelling the Aurora tanks. Cybran seems to be rather good at this, as the artillery has EMP, stopping the Aurora tanks from moving, allowing your guyz to close in on them, and most importantly, stopping your oppenent from micromanaging efficently. You also need radar(supplied either by land scouts or a stationary building) for your artillery to be as effective as they can possibly be, but you probably already know this. Hope this helps, i don't play cybran enough but i devlopped this strategy purely to counter Aeon without using Aeon itself.
