nice ACU reclaim duell, very good microing, no turtlefest until 20:00 (isis tends to be), wicked sick trebuchet duell
and a very enjoyable early endgame including lords vs fats and SCUs

a throughout enjoyable & wubbworthy game,
in fact, so enjoyable, that the players seemed to delay its end.

As the final desperate push showed, this game could have ended earlier


minor critics:
- mephisto seems to be oblivious to the raid on his foreward base at about 18:00 (sitting duck shooting)
- decievers overkill (especially lategame)
- east team tends to forget about stealth on geminis and revenants
- TAG_ROCK could have ended the game at 55:00, would he have attacked mephs ACU (under only 1 shield, protected by about 6 Myrmidons) instead of the SCUs
- again at 1:16:00, why go for the skathis when you can kill ACU?
- 1:20:40 Soul Ripper suicide, megalith dies in vain shortly after that

Long game, but I throughly enjoyed it.

Tag_Rock and Pic had amazing teamwork. An i do believe that is what kept them ahead. I saw resources being pooled towards commons goals far more than 5 times. I found myself rooting for you guys once I saw that.

I very much enjoyed each new strategies that were attempted and the escalation in combat that ensued each time.

I can understand where some might say it ot a bit slow in the middle. It did, but if you have to build 4 nukes. That takes quite a bit of time to gather and build the resources the structures respectively.

However, during that same period. I could not for the life of me figure out what the enemy strat was. I seemed nothing was building other than T3 fighters. and it was an aweful long time to go without an attack.

Finally the T4 Artillery with mephisophile and co was awesome. I found my self screaming "Send everything!!!!" when it was finished. And for a bit I dodn't know if it was going to to game over or not...... SO CLOSE!!!

Interesting how, the long defensive assault ended in the defenders favor. I guess sometimes stalemates require drastic attacks to throw an enemy of equilibrium and get the flow moving again in someones favor.

Good game! I really liked the SCU usage, very innovative with their enormous regen!

But damn, I screamed in agony when the nukes where launched, WHY didn't you scout properly instead of shooting at the exact spot with double smd coverage. sad.gif

Nice battles in lategame.

But some things:
TAG_ROCK could have saved 15-20% of the total mass he did spend in his additional economy with efficient templates.

Mephistophile, you did go for RAS SCUs before building any other additional economy. I know you want to use them as an strong reclaimer/builder what I often do, too. Still you should rather get some T3 p-gens + T2 m-fabs before you build them.
You did also build a second T3 p-gen directly after your first one. Better build the first one earlier and the second later.
Also why you started building another Scathis after your first died? You where already under siege, why don't build up some MLs, SLs, Megaliths in a few seconds with all that mass and buildpower? Losing a Scathis isn't a big problem as you only lost ~19% of the resources you did spend in building it.

To all:
Strat bomber are bugged, they mostly don't hit the target at first run.
They allways drop the bombs to early, so attack the ground behind the target. And this Scathis would have been dead way earlier that way...

Nice game, but some pretty nooby stuff from all players.

Pic, wtf was with the continental spam!? iirc you didn't actually put anything in a single one. You must of built like 30 of them and just wasted them.

Also, did you guys (Pic + ROCK) not think to use all those strat bombers on their practically unprotected ACUs instead of going for the Scathis?

Also, don't build monkeylords when everyone is spamming experimentals. Monkeylords are only good for an early exp. attack. Once experimentals are in full production, Megaliths are much better.

I remember several occasions were some players would just send like 1 or 2 strat bombers at a shielded experimental surrounded by like 10+ mobile flak. I also remember seeing at least twice players sending just ASFs at the same thing. I have no idea what the point of that was.

i saw some continentals packed with SABs trying to land in Meph's base.

Funny how much difference one T3 artillery makes.

I was also amazed that Meph's eco was larger than Rock's!
