I went for fast gun upgrade, but forgot how much energy it needed, so I was really slow to get it out. He had an interesting reaction to it, but then it went to t2 and the acu+bot battles begun!

I honestly believe that when playing Winter Duel, commander gun upgrade is the best and only way to go. If you are not mentally retarded, you should pull it off. If you don't manage to win with it, then your opponent's level was leagues above yours anyways.

Arty spam is also pretty damn good, but you have to be an expert player to pull it off perfectly.

I think fast T2 + T2PD spam can counter the gun upgrade quite well, but other than that, I agree -- it is very powerful.

I would have went stealth as well if I hadn't botched up the build order so badly.
