silver at least, great game!

surprised mower didn't go all or nothing and pump his air factory for enough mercies to snipe while matiz was at his base. still an awesome game though! holding that assault off like that... wacko.gif

There were a couple of things I could have done.

1) Upgrade my damn commander, this and this alone could have turned the game.
2) Mercy snipe when he was low on hp yes.
3) Better T3 land usage. He OC'd far too many harbingers. Also a few more earlier sniperbots for a snipe.
4) I got pushed to the defense too early but I'm not sure why... matiz might be a reason.

If you were aeon, you were pushed to defensive stance because auroras can't hold a candle agaisnt strikers.

Fun game to watch, didn't play out at all like I expected it to. I think if you put down 2 conservatively placed T2 PDs (kind of behind your t3 fac a bit) and covered them with a mobile shield before upgrading to T3 fac, that would have helped immensely at giving you a bit of breathing room. Make some breathing room and you could have reclaimed that huge pile of stuff right at your front door. That combined with the fact that you had the corners and had also swept away all of his outer mexes and I think you could have broken out and gotten offensive.

The way the game played out, hindsight and all, a mercy snipe looks like a good idea, but not knowing the future, it would have been difficult to gamble with a mercy I think. Matiz had a vet5 comm very quickly and lots of ints flying over Mower's base until the flak came out. It takes a very long time for a vet5 UEF comm to get low enough that a mercy snipe becomes feasible, and if he happens to scout it he can play a bit more conservatively and maintain enough hp that you can't really mercy snipe.

Excellent game! This is for the people who think FA is just about rushing with handful of units and there's no large scale war at all smile.gif

Wubbed.

Also think not having 3 engys reclaiming that huge wreckage during/after the battles hurt you a lot!

Good game!

Lawnmower seemed to do well but losing that t3 factory once it was up was a little silly.

No reclaiming aswell was silly that hurt you alot.

Next time t2 pd and shield spam is your friend, 5 t2 pds and 5 shields would have made matiz rethink his plans, then your harbs would have ran riot, like 3 harbs can kill like 100 t1 tanks no prob and matiz was still in t1 land when u were t3.
