The replay bug has been fixed and the best replay of the April 20th tournament has been decided, so here it is! Matiz_pl_ versus duris_ on Williamson's Bridge, with plenty of T1, T2, and upgraded ACU action. Both players will be getting a free poster from the GPG store!

Wow. Just Wow. This replay was the best ? No offense, but Matiz played so horrible, even i could have beat him. He messed up again and again. To me, this game was no good watch, but it was a horrible waste of my friggin time. If these two get a poster, my grandma deserves one as well.
This is kind of insider to me, but anyways:

Hey Gnats, im nether joking nor jealous. I have no problems with you guys, i just think that in my opinion this game is not very good. Admitattly, i didnt check the staff board in a good while. Actually i just put it into my favourites, sorry about not voting.
Here is my opinion on the game:
Matiz, wanne know you did wrong ? I will tell you. You feeded legions of units to duris ACU, you literally ran your mongoose right into his ACU time after time, just lol. On your right flank, you suicided your units right into his base and you even allowed him to reclaim the stuff afterwards...
Then, you messed up your TML so badly, just wow. You didnt scout in time, you waited until he began constructing TMD (just btw duris wasnt scouting, he just thought perhaps TMD couldnt hurt and damn was he right), then you wasted your missiles until you finally hit a t2 mex when you could have killed a lot more if you just launched the missile instead of waiting for 3 of them to be finished.
In all honesty, i think duris played better. Sure, he was on the defensive side most of the game and he felt like the underdog, but he just "played" better from my point of view. He overcharged, made good use out of his ACU, he manually reclaimed stuff etc. I think matiz had the better early game, gaining the upperhand. Longterm, duris was better.
ok i think the last thing u want to do is feed a couple of units at a time to a guy's ACU, it wont take much damage, it'll repair, and ur units will die. with t1-t2, massing units is just about the only way, of course he never had enough to take it down this game because the ACU was well supported most times.
on the right flank i think he played better than duris for the simple fact that he held the right flank the entire game! when he did attack his base, duris was in the process of constructing t2 pd so its not like it was jus waiting for him and he still rammed the guys in there.
Duris played better? Really? Who won again?? it didnt look to me like he was able to even dent matiz whose eco was far better. i would say it was never even a close game. so he reclaimed a couple of wrecks (cus he was on the defensive) and?...who cares? he lost!
Sion, good points, I would also add totally failed lobo drop. Yea I made these mistakes, but: 1. Evrybody makes mistakes 2. I was rusty, it was my 3rd day of playing after 3 months break. 3. It was tourney with money. I was excited, i make bad mistakes when I'm excited 4. they didnt cost me that much, they were in late game stage when i had economical advantage.
Yes, right, i forgot about the lobo drop. i can totally see that many people are playing less SC and i myself notice that im getting rusty. Yesterday i played a game and i almost lost - just like you i didnt play for about 10 weeks and damn you REALLY get rusty that quick, i amazed and my stupid play lol.
As mentioned, i didnt mean to offend you. Just stating the obvious. I know from the past that you are a pretty decent player, i suppose you just need to warm up
Najhart: Whatever. My points are valid. I wrote that matiz had the better early game, so that was the fundament for his win. Im fine with that, i was just stating the obvious.
ROFL, no one noticed that Matiz never built intel?? That owned countless of his Mongoose... You did some horrible mistakes, but it still wasn't a bad watch. That Matiz wins was the obvious, though.
