never had such problem vs 2 stupid free ulhans lost a tc and 5 cassas =/ destroying my perfect start >.<, and ya new cassas sux, I prefer a skirm 100% more specially vs cav civs
Games like this make me question why everybody insists Portugal is UP. I felt sorry for my German brother iGiul and I took a lot of notes about what happened here, since it's rare to fight the Ports. I think iGiul had the right idea trying to pike down as many free TCs as possible, but once the 1450-HP mamelukes and super-dragoons show up, Germany's skirm-uhlan force is in serious trouble. How the heck do you counter cassa/mameluke/dragoon? Skirms counter dragoons, but it's tough to get a clean shot when 25 goon-guarded cassas are firing at you and 5 invincible mamelukes are biting into the flank. I have to say the micro here was excellent.
I recall once I faced a mid-Fotress Age dragoon/cassa/organ gun army with skirm/uhlan and got similarly shredded by a great Port player. I love my uhlans, but how can you take advantage of them when the other guy has 20 dragoons?? Nice game, guys!
