At the beginning he rushed me with sepoy and owned my rax but later i had a nice comeback and owned him because of a little micro mistkae from his side xD

Your opponent kinda slipped
He sends an army to kill a shrine and rescue the explorers, only to be trapped by your army. That was a good rush by him, way to hang in there.

Those Ashigaru are so so due for a nerf. wink.gif

And I should give you due credit since I moaned on a popular game about the way you used the pavilion....see, I do notice and I praise when it's really good. smile.gif

I have to wonder though, micro or no micro, when Japan isn't afraid to use Ashigaru's vs Gurkha's, what can India really do? tongue.gif

(One watchback later)

I think I probably picked up on it because the Ashigarus are still the core of the army. Still, a lot of folks would hide their HI from the likes of gurkhas, and they wouldn't be able to carry so many muskets because they're just not of the same quality.

I just don't think most folks playing other civs would be able to pull of raids with muskets like that either, because they lack a) the pavilion which you used to the max and b) the quality of musket to be able to get away with it.

I also heard a Dutch guy say recently he just couldn't really deal with Ashigarus (but I think that was for a rush) because Dutch skirms just aren't up to task unless you micro like crazy and keep your distance.

But heck no, I'm not daft enough to suggest you'd go in solo with just Ashigarus, because then he could pick you off at distance.

Treasure hunting with the monk upgrade was excellent. Made the game right there- even while losing your barracks.

yea that was very important i love this card

and dutch can handle Ashigaru very esay use colomilta and you will defend tons of Ashigaru and after you used it your eco is good enough to spam tons of Skirms who really own Ashigaru

Sadly I can't vouch either way, I don't directly play them myself. tongue.gif

But that card....that card...little compares to hearing your opponent just netted an 800 food treasure. WTF.gif

Problem is you can't really guarantee what treasures are up ahead or if they'll be good, else I would guess it'd be in -every- Jap player's deck, and the first card up every game. biggrin.gif

i use a seapcial deck for maps like yukon, Andes and other great treasure maps
you have to know a 160 wood treasure is already enough to make this cards sensefule
if you thik these are 320 wood and there are always 2 80 food treasures wich get to 300 food too
