IGN Samodelkin, the (so far) undefeated, #1 player on the leaderboards faces off vs Kinth, the best Hierarchy player he has ever faced!
What results is a fast paced and intense battle with many surprises and displays of skill coming from both players. Out of all the ranked games I've encountered thus far, this is the game to see!
The lost one harassment early on by Kinth was pretty neat to watch, and had the map been a bit smaller I think that would have that much more of a crippling strike to you.
Dervish jets... man those things are rough against the hierarchy. He was even using the appropriate counters, but those things would still rip things apart with that death blossom move. The arc turrets he would build on his walker legs really didn't seem to to a lot of damage to the dervish jets, maybe arc turrets could use a slight buff?
Well played on both sides, but I am kind of scratching my head as to what the Hierarchy player could have done differently against you.
It's a pity people are playing ladder. Splits the community imo.
On the topic of the replay, the heirarchy player was far too dependant on walkers. Units might get annihilated by that ability the dervish has but the novus player kept wasting it on walkers and if he'd gone tier 2 mutagens + nufai he could have grounded the dervishes and fairly easily won. Lost one raiding is a good idea, but on such a large map, you need to be prepared for an air or vehicle based opening. Basically you need saucers/defilers and nufai...

Nice game. Those Dervish Jets were really bringing it all over the map. I also liked the use of the Lost Ones and there explosives. Though a little variety on the Novus side and Hierarchy side would have been nice to see. Give the game some flavor.
