What a freaking HARD match this was. Very well played by my opponent. I thought I was screwed a couple of times.
Virtually every unit was used, tons of mixing, tons of micro by both players. Lots of really important timing with super weapons and hackers to give an advantage.
I don't know why my opponent didn't keep trying to use my flow conduits against me. The first time he did it with his Amps was devastating.
Just wow. Unfortunately it's an hour and 4 minutes, but it was an intense game
I was floating something similar, we both had our economies at full speed yet our unit caps were full as well. By the end I was back down to 1-2k tops at a time because of slower economies.
Keep in mind that the economy is tuned for dynamic macro game. If you are floating cash then you can afford to change up your research, even if just to get another hero out and return to your favorite configuration.
I can't believe I watched the whole replay, and I missed Zinsho using your flow network. At one point I was like "whaa, what happened to AGM's science centre.... damn I missed it "
I never really respected those hackers dudes until this replay - wow o.O
I respected them... and I was quite certain they were the ultimate anti-Novus weapon in existence... and then I ate that prediction by being hit by them hard.
The economy was fine, and at the time when I was floating I had 2 heroes built/dead and the 3 was the one I was teched up for although I never did build the Founder. I'm not sure why I didn't build the EM Destabilizer until late but probably just forgetting that I could because I was focusing on trying to get units to destroy his units with.
When re-watching the replay from his point of view... I think we both would end up with next to no units available after every encounter... or at least until the end he never seemed to have enough to make me regret the last meeting.
And Lazer, how do you save an hour when the game only lasted just over an hour?
Note to self though... must build superweapons when cash is available, they are very annoying to be hit by.
I think my happiest hacker moment was using one to viral bomb a group of dervishes, and see most of them blow up entirely.... or seeing his die to a sonic pulse he was unable to prevent (they lockdown from the same range as the pulse, so they die to it)
