He also took a big gamble in this one, as he put all the effort in the initial double walker rush. Your scout monolith did great as it took out a panel by itself, and obviously gave you the intelligence to make saucers.
This map is not for the faint of heart, as the spawn points are very close. He did the logical thing, a fast rush. I however feel double walker rush was too risky.
One thing to note, though: He thought I was Novus, because that's what I was the previous game, so he did an anti Novus opening (I forgot to tell him I was Hierarchy until a bit into the game)
Even against novus a double walker was risky. Ohms would east the walkers alive without support. Start with one waker and make grunts to support the walker might have worked better, but oh well.
So it seems my proposal to announce faction prior to the game ALWAYS is not that far fetched
