General Overview:

What a fantastic game on the semi large map of fata morga. The game opens with Basilisk opening with the familiar GM, GM, TP, GM into CS with Commisar and Priest combo. Bruce McHuge goes for FC/Tacs and the game progresses as Basilisk does a successful CS harass which quickly gets repelled into an assault on Basilisks Base. The game progresses further into t2 where execute v plasma tacs takes centre stage with hellhounds and missiles goin all over the place! Finally we see a t3 battle where basilisk is building his kasrkin but making his final stand tryin to keep his IC alive long enough for the Kasrkin to emerge. Bruce isn’t successful and a continuous flow of priests into the Missile Tac squads with good usage of fantacism means he cannot destroy the IC and is repelled by Kasrkin and Ogryn (later). The game progresses still further when Bruce refuses to give up and fights hard with HF Dreadnoughts and tacs fighting for their lives. However soon the might of many sentinels, leman russes and Kasrkin/Ogryn means its good game for Bruce even with his terminators arriving later.

General Overview:
You opened with a general sound BO of FC/Tacs but allowed the CS harass to be too effective. You did recover and push basilisk out and had constant skirmishes against his guardsmen. When t2 rolled around you were forced to retreat due to execute but pushed basilisk back with missile/plasma tacs. Eventually you came to the point where you were on the verge of destroying the IC. Had you done so I don’t think basilisk could have come back from it, it would have been GG. However timely usage of priests in your missile tacs meant that you could not destroy the IC and were pushed back by kasrkin, priests, gms and hellhounds/sents. Consider bringing HF Dreads to the fight earlier or teching slightly faster. You played well overall but eventually techspeed done you in as you invested far too much in tacs even with a superb eco.


Pros:
-Good Micro
-Good Eco
-Managed to repel Imba Execute tongue.gif
-Good usage of vehicles to sway the tide in your favour (for a while)
-Capped the crits to apply pressure to Basilisk.
-Good usage of shift capping/building
-Good use of scout/flamers early on.

Cons:
-Slow techspeed
-Needed more rockets to finish off the IC
-Needed more vehicle support, even a landspeeder would have sufficed.

General Overview:
Using the general IG bo, you performed a good CS harass with Commisar/Priest combo and created pressure on Bruce. You were pushed back however but a good eco and good techspeed made sure you could push him back with execute. A couple of close take and hold timers later you pushed forward further still with Hellhound support. Missile tacs screwed your hellhounds over although you did ensure the missile tacs were focus fired and you were forced to retreat again. This was the turning point, Bruce almost destroyed your IC but in the best move of the entire matchup, you created priests and tied up the rockets before they could finish their work, buying time for your kasrkins to arrive. After this point you had the game in the bag pushing forward with kasrkings/ogryns/hellhounds/sents and gms. Even after a few nervy moments with HF Dreads, the power of Leman Russes showed through and you finished the game off. Well played.


Pros:
-Good usage of the CS
-Good Techspeedl
-Good usage of sents to decap the crits, nervy moments!
-Good usage of Priests, which is what save the game for you
-Good micro generally, focus firing missile tacs and directing hellhounds towards them.
-Good eco with both globals researched.
-Good use of shift capping, queuing.
-Got t4 right when you needed it, pesky HF dreads and Preds lol
Cons:
-Didn’t upgrade to LP2 as quick as I think youd have liked, could have produced a larger eco/better defence early on.
-Lost CS to the tac squads.
-Didn’t recap front point after losing it.

Priests need a longer cooldown on their junk. I wish WotE increased speed and recharged every few seconds.

The cooldown is 2 mins but I think it just seemed less in this game cause you kept killing my priests and I kept getting new ones that had a new fanaticism smile.gif
