Dark Crusade

Hello!

I've had a sucky mood this day I wanted to make a big break from DC (exams and sucking generally ), but I've did an auto, pulled a Necron and cheered up.

The guy wasn't top notch - he didn't abuse FO though and he tried to micro an NW + FO mass. I did cap all the Relics (built 'em up_ and all three Crit Points - got very nice eco. I did float a bit, but it was when the game was pretty much over.

CSM + HB, Cults with some Plasma, Frag Nades and CL - standard rather What I'd really like is some comments on my micro and general execution on my macro. I really want to improve, so if anyone got any tips - you'd welcome to share

Generally you did very well, only a couple of things... when retreating don't move your troops too far away. Also i saw you move your troops around a rock..?beware of pathing...
When shooting FOs don't retreat right away move the squad that is closer and vise versa!
KB! at least 1 squad.
Very good use of nades and HB! transport is a good addition vs Necs, but i don't use it either...

As for KB - I didn't take them, coz I thought it would be better to get t3 faster, as I wasn't pressed by the other player. As for micro stuff - I was afraid of that morale breaking aura FO have and NW fire. After I replace my moise I'll paymore attention - it's safer for me to move en masse, as my right-click doesn't respond from time to time But I'll try As for Rhinos - I know they rock, but I'm not a fan of going vehicles vs Necrons - KB are more useful when facing better players (Destroyers can be taken out with Horrors - I made them as soon as I saw Greater Summoning Core), as Defilers get owned VERY fast by Immortals. But then again, having seen what an SM player did vs a good Necron player with a Rhino, it may be worth it. Just some good micro on Defs and LP raiding... Hmmm

Match Overview:
Game between Chaos and necrons. Chaos player started with CSM+CL followed up by armory and after on he got heavy bolters and exarch for his CSM squad while the necron player began to mass necron warriors followed up by flayed ones and after on Necron lord. Battles were fought near necron base until CSM+CL destroyed necron forces which finally let him advance into enemy base and finish the game.


TrainingStuff/ Chaos
You started off the game with CSM+CL with later on where upraded with exarchs and heavy bolters which let you push back enemy into base. Other thing was that you got a good map control and you had necron player defending till the end of the game. You didnt made almost any mistakes though early game you could ahve harassed more from other side. Good game overall.


Tips for Improvement:
- When retreat, dont retreat your troops too far away.
- You could have attacked from other side which was more vulnerable.
- Some issues on pathing on early game, beware this, it can cost you any units.

DARK_STARTER/ Necrons
You started with fast necron warriors followed up by flayed ones and thenNecron lord came but it was too late. You spent way too many resources on reinforcing units because you wasted them and couldnt do a good retreat when you didnt lost many troops (specially when you`re necrons). Later on your enemy destroyed your army and you there was nothing you could do. Also you lost many scarabs on early game.


Tips for Improvement:
- Retreat fast if you know you cant win.
- Dont lose so many scarabs, specially on early game.
- You spent too many resources reinforcing, better not let much of your units die.

The thing is: when I play agains weaker players, I play very nice. But when I face someone better I seem to lack concentration, get intimidated etc. Like vs UserFrank (he was beating the living crap out of me )
