The Soviet Iron Curtain is their tier two super weapon. This weapon provides a group of units with invulnerability for a set period of time. It is not usually economical to use in competitive play but it can be fun to use in less competitive matches.
The Iron Curtain, like in Red Alert 2, is revealed once you build the structure. You want make sure that you have it defended well since losing a structure that is that costly can be very damaging to your economy.
