Red Alert 3

The Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com) has listed three additional cast members for EA’s upcoming, RTS Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3.

First among these is Stelio Savante, who will purportedly play a Soviet character named Sergei. Savante has played minor roles in a slew of television series including Ugly Betty (as Steve), Law & Order: SVU and Navy NCIS. Savante also played Leo along side Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson in 2006’s My Super Ex-Girlfriend.


Secondly, Japanese-American actress Minae Noji is set to play the interestingly named character 'Rocket Angel’. Given Noji’s racial background, it is likely that her character will be aligned with Red Alert 3’s new Japanese faction - The Empire of the Rising Sun. Noji is perhaps best known as Dr. Kelly Lee from long running ABC Daytime Soap Opera, General Hospital. Moreover, this will not be the first video game that Noji has acted in, as she also played the ‘cold female Mentat’ Roma Atani in Westwood and Intelligent Games’ Emperor: Battle for Dune, released in 2001.


Less experienced than both Noji and Savante, Sonni Stommel is to be cast as Zalinsky’s Assistant. Although it is not yet known who exactly ‘Zalinsky’ is, we may surmise that he will appear as a Soviet character in light of the decidedly Russian suffix attached to his name.


Earlier in the week, a rumor surfaced alleging that MMA fighter Gina Carano would feature in Red Alert 3 as the Soviet heroine Natasha. IMDB’s update does little to confirm this as true, as Carano’s name was not among those listed.

In addition to the above, IMDB has also listed the names of both the director and writer of Red Alert 3’s cinematics. Richard Taylor, director of both Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and its expansion Kane’s Wrath will purportedly direct, with Kane’s wrath and Call of Juarez writer Haris Orkin set to pen RA3’s cinematic script.
