Gnef Build order: Refinery on oil, barracks, 6 felins on bank, second refinery on aluminium field
PROS:
Great micro managing of collectors to cause damage to the US recon team
Capturing civilian structures on both sides on Cruelty's base, extremely effective
Expanding with a refinery, outpost, and sentinel turret
Destroyed refinery before placement
Used prison as another source of income which is extremely helpful.
Harassed every chance he got
Great management of exo soldiers and taking care of the helicopter raid before it got to his base
Attacking multiple places
CONS/TIPS:
Although it wasn't needed, don't forget to sell your fully extracted unused refineries to get your earnings back!
Outer refineries were not protected
Would have been nice to see a different combination of units effectively
Cruelty Build order:Refinery on oil, barracks, refinery on aluminium, 5 marines and 1 stinger on bank, 3rd refinery on oil refinery
PROS:
Taking over three banks and using stingers to cover air near the banks
Using snipers to counter his SAS with camouflage
Good micro management of guardians towards the exo soldiers, and using snipers to snipe out exo soldiers.
Placed MG nests near refineries for protection
Expanded fast
Played really well defensively and survived the waves that Gnef brought until the end
Great sportsmanship by Cruelty, posting this replay even though he lost
CONS/TIPS:
Had to purchase another Recon team which is a huge disadvantage since they're not cheap
Played defensively for the most part of this game, I think you could have definitely done big damage with the amount of guardians you had
Lost a lot of infantry and air with crushers blow up damage and exo soldiers
Late light vehicles bay, although you went air on this it would have been good if you went tanks to destroy his outer refineries
Lost your refinery more than once on one side, horrible luck on that side
Entertainment value: 7/ 10 This game was fun to watch! It ended really fast though. Would have been really great if Cruelty's air drop made it successfully, would have done a lot of damage to gnef, enough to give Cruelty the win instead! This was definitely worth watching! Although it seemed to be in gnefs favor for the most part, Cruelty was out of luck and lost his refinery vehicle twice on one side. Didn't have enough time to upgrade turrets or place them because of gnefs aggressive attack.
