The AN-94 is a Russian assault rifle. It is the successor to the famous Kalashnikov used the by Russian army. It was designed by Gennadiy Nikonov and manufactured by Izhmash. It is capable of firing in two different modes, automatic and two round burst fire. It fires a 5.45x39mm round, it is effective against enemy personnel out to 400 yards.

Mechanics The AN-94 is the hand of death. It fires in two round bursts and utterly shreds the enemy at all ranges. Equipping magnum ammo increases its amazing capabilities from fantastic to god-like. It allows for three 2 round bursts to kill any distance. However you choose to use this gun, it will perform well. For close range to mid range combat, spam the trigger as fast as possible slowing down slighty when nearing the middle distance and the enemy is on the move. Over longer ranges you may want to pause for a moment between bursts to allow your recoil to settle before firing again. The gun also handles well even when not aiming down the sights, so being caught off guard isn't a serious threat.
Targeting Opinions are divided on the iron sights, some may find them usable while others may not. However they certainly aren't the best. Both the red dot sight and the 4x scope are great options, giving you a good view of where you are aiming. The 4x scope is probably a better option, allowing you to expand your competent firing range and because it hip fires nicely it isn't to much of a hindrance.

Role There isn't anything particularly hard to remember about using the AN-94. Fire as fast as possible up to mid range, and slightly slower for longer shots. Use the 40mm attachments when needed and don't use the iron sights. This this will mow down multiple enemies with ease, so have fun!
