right now some of the most popular maps are user-created and edited, like firien dale, westfold/west emnet edits, lebennin, lebennin for 3v3, river langwell. Most EA maps are simply unplayable crap. They made like 5 good maps and flopped on every other one.

personally I don't enjoy playing games on other fan-made maps-- for example, a balanced version of 1.9v2 but definitely not as pleasurable as 1.06.. the original of everything is more beautiful and enjoyable
