Summary:
A lot of back and forth action here. Necrosjef took the early action by turning back his opponent’s Guardians with a cookie-cutter combo of Urks and Pikes which turned out to be very effective. He then got Wargs, and shortly after stopped getting X-bows. Zimdor played his midgame with a nice balance of Guardians, Pikes, and Axe throwers. It went back and forth for a LONG time. Zimdor enhanced his army with Dain and Gloin, and we saw a lot of good Lurz usage from Necro. Both also used their abilities to full effect, with the Dragon and Earthquake powers taking a major toll at the end. Dain managed to outlast Lurz, laying the final siege of the Urk base after the dwarves survived a vicious siege. This will defiantly be a RotW contender next Sunday.

SODAN|Necrosjef

Positive:
Very strong early game. Was on a role before Zomdor started building strong points. Good flanking with the Wargs. Made sure they were hitting Axe throwers instead of Guardians or Phalanx.
Upgrades came fast and furious. Defiantly helped even the infamous Dwarf vs. Urk standoff.
Nice use of Lurz, from hero trapping to battle changing.
Powerful use of abilities. Wildmen and Dragon used especially well
Good staying power, going for his buildings at smart times.

Negative:
No use of formation AT ALL! Using shield wall would have dramatically helped give your Urks staying power.
Allowed Wargs to be bogged down to often. They should always be trampling, not fighting Guardians hand to hand.
You seemed to lose units sometimes. I saw several units get placed around the map when they could have been used to great advantage in a surprise attack on his rear.
Why did you keep building workshops near the dwarven bulkhead? And why siege at all? He was not getting walls or anything.
This is a nit-pick, since I’ve yet to see people use this well, but you should use stances to win. Those X-bows that aren’t being attacked? Put them in offensive stance to increase damage.
I didn’t like how you stop using X-bows after you started getting Urks upgrades. They were used to such great advantage early game you should have stuck with them to help with Guardians. It’s not like he had any battlewagons for most of the match.

Rating: 7/10
I didn’t like your mirco. You need to be paying better attention to the battles in order to win.

Zimdor

Positive:
Nice use of tunnel system to keep his economy going and his units moving fast.
Nice job setting up a defensive bulkhead to halt the White Hand’s advance.
Nice use of Charge to disrupt Urk forces.
Heroes used pretty well when they weren’t being killed my Lurz.
Good powers. MoD turned the tide of many battles.
A very sneaky endgame, using the King’s guard and earthquake to take out the Isen base.

Negative:
NO UPGRADES!!! I cannot stress enough how silly this was! Upgrades are ALLWAYS important. Your Guardians could have slaughtered the Urks if their weapons were blue and armor gold.
Earthquake was used a bit prematurely. It could have waited till you saw a better target.

Rating: 8/10
Upgrades upgrades upgrades man!

Final: 7/10
Not perfect, but defiantly one of the most fun replays here.

Very good replay! smile.gif Nice unit choices, and power usage.

However:

-no stances were used, or formations for the Uruks. This would of greatly enhanced the chances of winning for the side using them.
-Wargs waren't used that well. They died to pikemen on several occasions, and Howl wasn't used that well either.
-Dwarven player would have probably won if he would of used the Mithril and Forged Blades. A few Battle Wagons here and there wouldn't hurt either.

Nice, easilly the best replay i've seen for bfme2 so far.

You always have to be careful about which units you upgrade since they die to powers very easilly so in some cases it's better to make more unit producing buildings and make more units instead of having a super upgraded army get totally owned by barrage or the watcher.
