Hard matchup, but super long fun game with alot of action till the last of resources.

collecting on left side of the middle without clearing the bunker first was a pretty stupid thing to do, killed my cash flow and spam, which could ve been my road to victory after killing an entire army of buggies with an a10 strike (following up with pure spam/trade killing/non stop pressuring/not allowing him to rebuild an army). Maybe could've used a comanche or 2 but I feel thats too slow/expensive/weak and killing production, especially as swg having expensive vees

Lure out his buggies with vees, have a burton and if he runs after your vees gun them down
Swg choppers are hardly ever worth it (read: virtually never unless trolling)

Had burton in this game for that exact purpose, had a few buggy kills but not that many opportunities in this game.
Burton is just not always usefull if its a good quad/buggie mix, but so arent choppers. Only other option left is tomahawks, which also arent cheap, but can be made in good economic position I suppose. Or.... evac and laser lock all quads like a pro (assuming you have snipers ofcourse), though mds probably won't survive if quads are positioned well in a line

What i really didn't like and it hurt my eye to see was that right fire base's position, which was really bad...
What i would have done is drop 3 humvees and an ambo in his base, which would have probably ended the game quite fast...he had only 1 tunnel which was placed poorly, you would have denied the palace and kill all his production (he only had like 4-5 techs at that time and i bet he would have counter attacked you not defend his base, for that i would have left 2-3 humvees in base and rpg's X'd so techs can't run over them)...

Seems u drop 3 vees + ambo every usa vs gla game ^^ Though I cant remember exactly how this game went that probably would not have worked, I did the same thing basicly but with a bigger arrmy and instantly rushed straight to his base after i killed a load of buggies with a10. Dropping didnt seem neccesary because 1. I had direct access to his base (cleared mid) 2. Getting chinook ready and loaded takes valuable time + mining time. 3 you only drop 3 vees.. ..The point is I rushed pretty fast without wasting too much time ii think but he already had buggies to back it up, so I wasnt able to finish it right there and dropping wouldve made no diiference and probably worked out worse for the reasons I named. Dropping can sometimes work out great but the timeframes are pretty small in these matchups. After all this my spam was weaker cuz i wasnt careful and lost chinooks in the middle, if I was, I should’ve won from there like you said.
Btw, had no clue about his tunnel placement or how many cuz he was stealth.. about the firebase, i cant really remember but it was probably to wall off my whole flank while rushimg thru mid. Usually I try to clear my oil side and expand my ground with firebases for better protection of oil plus to mine on that side of the middle. Was no time for that in this game as he was pumping buggies already.

ahh i checked, yea it wasnt really covering the whole flank but it was more intended to protect my production while i was clearing mid, while still covering some of the flank to make stopping tech terrors easier, I don't think it was completely useless. Plus the dozer stays nice and safe in the box

It wasn't completely useless but could have been placed much better to cover the whole flank and all the reasons you said..
About the drops, well usa vs gla is my best MU by far, when i see that he already controls middle and he is building palace that's what i do and i could say it works 90% of the time. Vs a good gla player after he has buggies it's hard. For example if i am the gla player i dont focus all my buggy fire on a single humvee, i number buggies in packs of 2. Like 1 is 2 buggies, 2 another 2, 3 another 2...this way i massacre humvees in 1 attack and micro them easily with Q which is the shortcut for all units on the screen...your opponent didn't micro them that good and lost a lot of units to gen powers which was both bad luck for him and good use of gen powers by you.
