zhoporez (Air) vs haveyouseencyan (Air) on Forgotten Forst
Ugly is the correct title for this game that really should have been an easy win for zhoporez, however, through the use of unconventional tactics, he was able to increase the length of this game. Many wasted opportunities in the early game, followed by a frantic mid-game, as the players seem to lose touch.
Comments on zhoporez:
- Duel supply, then duel airfield. Using a single supply, with 3 or more Chinooks, can be dangerous, if you have the supply center too far from the supply, because you want those Chinooks to stay close to one another, in order to stop more missiles from your opponents raptors.
- Your first strike was worthless, as you didn't destroy either the barrack, nor the reactor. You should have chosen one or the other, but taking away his power would have been a lot better than destroying his barrack. Had you taken out his power with the first strike, you could have come back with your second strike to destroy his dozers, stopping him from building his second airfield, and denying him his power for longer. A start like this could have won you the game easily, as you'd only have what few infantry he'd gotten onto the field to work with, whilst you could effortlessly hunt down his Chinooks & Dozers, with a single Comanche being able to deal with rangers.
- When you went to destroy his top airfield, with your 4 raptors, all you needed to do was attack from above the airfield. Like this: Instead of wasting another opportunity.

Firebase - He gave you such an easy early game. Allowing you to take the oils, sit on duel-supply, and duel airfield, but due to your poor decision making, and heavy floating, you made it hard on yourself. I still had no doubt in my mind that you'd seem the superior player throughout. But it looks bad on you not to rebuild supply centers, and allowing your raptors to be destroyed by Comanches in your base.
