Fun to watch a Replay after the enemy used stealth constantly, now I could see where they were lurking all the time... I even almost killed 4 Stealth Tanks with my crushing Thunderheads, didn't even know they were under me.
Seems the crushing does Cannon damage, as those Stealth tanks took 300 something damage?

It starts as a 4vs4, but goes down to 2vs2, here's when it becomes hectic, my teammate is basically just feeding the enemy so it's kind of like a 3vs1...
The enemy is constantly spamming basilisks and other Heavy units so I still needed Laser a lot so didn't want to decommission my Thunderheads. So I go back and forth with my thunderhead army, go down to take nodes, and get up to kill basilisks over and over again etc.

Winner wins with only 50VP.... guess who. D:

PS: Before the 2vs2 stand off, there's a big noob apocalypse in the middle of the map, basically 6-7+ Mammoth Tank husks, Mastodon husks, Refractor spam, all getting killed by Basilisk army... enemy basically harvested something like 1000VP there... >_>

Fun to watch, even my computer lagged like hell when I watched the madness...

Another thing to note is that the crushing damage seems relative to the height of the levitation. Try rapidly clicking his launch/land button and you'll see that as soon as he levitates he will land as soon as he gets the chance to do so. I noticed this when I played with M4dn3ss on the hijacker custom map. I tried to stomp all the idle units there like silly XD

So I'm guessing in order to get that max damage the Thunderhead has to be in it's full hovering state. I'd love to see someone take full advantage of this in a game biggrin.gif XD

I liked the fact I could capture Nodes with them, so big Laser gun with a slow debuff + the ability to cap nodes. Made it a better choise then Paladins or switching to Offense in the last minutes. I wrote to my offense ally to build fast units and cap the Nodes, but no he stayed middle and just fed the basilisks with his Crawler and Heavy units.

I also used Supply Drop for lulz tongue.gif killed a Specter and promoted 2-3 of my Thunderheads, yeah as they can also take Crates.

And I use Status Reboot on a Specter to take away his dodge. tongue.gif

My new loved toy, they also seem to have greater range then basilisks and more HP... with healing Support powers and good micro it was a slaughter party most of the time. tongue.gif
As I waited for him to waste his Powers, he used his Vein Detonation most of the time versus my ally, so I could take him down when he had 0SP.

PS: I got the Thunderhead achievement from this, something like "kill 25 Heavy units with Thunderheads"...

Yeah I think 2 of my teammates 'countered' 2 Nod Support air spam with Mammoth Tanks and Mastodons... they shoot rockets yeah but... not the best unit choice >_>

I agree, I can only think of that they're trying to get the "so that's why I have rockets" achivement from the Mammoth for doing that.

That T3 = wtfpwneverything mindset is so cnc4 1.0 sleep.gif

As far as I know Thunderheads have longest range in the game? So as long as you kite you can never be hit, and killing heavy units in 2 shots is definitely a bonus biggrin.gif
