LOD vs NTS, yukkuri, Martin & zul in a 5vs5 3000 VP.

In good games, you are always surprised to see the victory sign popup!

Without spoiling too much, I can say, this was one. Both sides properly stacked, comeback and re-comeback, a dazzling battle until the last second, ending on the magic score of 3000-2998.

Well done Lords ! Thanks Nod for the great game !

Phew that game was very nice. Huge fight over that first blue was quite amusing. LOD seemed to focus alot on the uplinks at the start, giving nod the point lead for 1/3rd of the game. (LOD also didn't use crawlers to hold nodes until late game) Up north LOD DOSE1 had a bunch of tanks that weren't doing anything. Could have used them to harass mid or something because the GDI support north was fighting Michael and keeping him at bay. Better to keep your opponent constantly pressured so that he makes mistakes. (lots of mistakes equals one big mistake)GDI also focused alot on trying to counter the venom spam (with hammerhead and buggy spam) The venoms are a bit to mobile and would be very hard to kill (especially with Yukkuri's micro) Nod had alot of support. (3 support players) I personally think another defence or offence would have been better (more ground control) Other than that this game was top notch and the end could have gone either way. Well played both teams.

Well played LOD. We should take you more serious. ;-)))

I started playing fullspeed (and stopped watching Football) after 2/3 of the game was over.

Wombat later made excuses he was "with the dog out" - but i dont believe him ,-)))))
Joking.....

But you deserved the win. Congrat and well done.

Well played LOD, I will not underestimate you again smile.gif

I have no excuse for my game play in this game other than I was not expecting it to be a close game.

I had my hands full with that double venom spam, at a point there were about 32 venoms on the map, crazy! But afterwards I think we handled that right. By keeping the venoms busy and by limiting their damage with heroic repair and paladins, these players could not apply there usual hit and run tactic without loosing a bunch of them.

Any suggestion to handle such spams better is appreciated ;-)

Your mentioning for not underestimating LODs next time, is an execuse. By this alone you allegedly suggests they won cause you were not serious or you were busy with the other screen, whatever. It is no more than an excuse.

It is so common practice here.

Not saying that your counters were bad or anything (They were spot on) Just stating that you spent alot of time trying to deal with the venoms. Which is valuable time you could be doing something else. The venoms are more of a thorn in your side, and you can micro fight them right back fairly easy. They're only trouble when they have MOK (Mark of Kane) But again you did a great job and did handle them right, just dont spend to much time on them smile.gif
