I stumbled across the Additional Zoom Levels mod when trying to take some screenshots and found that I couldn't zoom out quite far enough. I think it's super useful for getting familiar with map layouts as you develop your own build orders.
And I guess they leaved this out from the multiplayer game due to balance issues? I would love to have this view on ladder so I can spot the engineers.
Yeah sadly once you enable a mod the online features become disabled. You'd need to run LAN mode to use it in multiplayer. Still useful to practice ladder map build placements on your own with AI though! Or to make the campaign missions a bit easier potentially.
