Size won vs Gatusso. 12 years later they faced each other in the World Series 2023 in the first round.

That was Ruiz, not Gattuso.

Whilst some deviation is acceptable within discussion topics some of the content was starting to wander way off track.

Having read the whole topic, again, it has been felt that a little bit of "housekeeping" was required.

May I remind you that incidences of public cheat allegations/accusations in any form, no matter how subtle, are not permitted.

Thank you for your understanding and future co-operation as this topic progresses. smile.gif

No worries.

I found the link interesting in respect of the historical World Series events.

Seeing all of those names of members who have fallen off the radar makes you wonder where all of that time has gone.

Yeah, these players really retired. Unlike many others that announced their retirement 20 times tongue.gif

I have said it before: 99% of the players that truly retire don't announce it, and probaby 90% of the people that announce their retirements will be back within a few weeks or months top. They will simply playing less and less. From every day, to only in the weekends, to once a month to once a year until they stop completely. Guess that's life. Would be nice though if some of those old pro's would come back.

Thanks FireArm. I looked at the Winner’s Circle topic, but couldn’t find the winner for 2011.
