Chinese whisky, eh? Never heard that before The traditional story is that St. Patrick came to Ireland and taught the natives about distillation, and they proceeded to make this unique drink called whisky. The Scottish counter-argument is that the Irish made some kind of alcoholic drink, but that it did not deserve the name of whisky until perfected by them.
Booze lore is a fascinating subject, there is always more to learn
Everybody enjoy your drink and stay safe this New Year's Eve
This article is called "I Busted Out Of Rehab" from Modern Drunkard magazine. I just wanted to share it with everyone, it's one of the funniest stories I've ever read
Well, that was my first round of Absinthe, I saw the dragon.
If anyone here has tried Absinthe, I would like to hear your experiences and what you saw.
I tried Absinthe. It was not pleasant at all.
Didn't want to drink enough to see things because of how horrible the taste was. After a few shots me and my brother ended up feeling sick and he threw up...Although we did have bourban and beer and wine with it so yea.
This is a drink that I just learned last night, called a Belfast Car Bomb:
-order a pint of Guinness, drink 1/4 of the glass -order a shot of 1/2 Jameson's Irish whisky, 1/2 Bailey's Irish cream -drop the the shot galss into the pint (It will foam, like a car explosian) -drink very quickly
