The developer of Portal Mr Newmann has been extremely critical of the Playstation 3 the last 4 years and to see him up there attemting to appologize to Sony and sony followers just had me cracking up. I will not support this developer or his team as they have lacked effort in there games for as long as I can remember. Also to speak smack about the players of PS3 calling them non gamers just got me to dislike him.
Portal 1 and Half life where not developed by this team. They lacked the knowledge and experience and therefore pushed those projects on EA which completed the game. The Finall product was inferior to the same game on other systems We make these guys rich and If you want my money you better be giving a quality product and not jip me cuz you want my $60 dollars. Bump them and I will give my money to those developers that deserve it, those who truly push the envelope (Naughty Dog) otherwise I am accepting the fact that some developer are in it for a quick buck and not to please my entertainment.
Ok I guess you read it wrong I said Valve was critical of the PS3 and they themselves said that the PS3 is too hard to develop and spend money on. All the games you named are on XBOX using the same technology found on PC which is where Valve had its strongest showing. He himself stated several times that the PS3 was a waste of sony's money and that they should just disscontinue the system and start all over again. It was Valve that couldn't complete the orange box on PS3 and pushed it to EA. If developers lazy ones who don't want to push the envelope or want to be crirtical of one system over another becouse there strenght lies in PC and that's what XBOX hardware basically is then bump them. Never in my whole B)tching session did I say there games suck.
I agree with both Verdo and GN, my whole point is exactly what you are agreeing on. If the developer want to be lazy then my money will go elsewhere KZ3, Resistance 3, inFamous 2, Motorstorm 3, Medal of Honor. I feel bad for black ops as 85% of the people I know that own MW2 are not purchasing it. There are way to many good game and too many better games to continue to purchase the same game over and over and over and over again. Try Medal of Honor looks to be a sturdy competition to C.O.D. franchise.

Yeah but i purchase Black Ops because COD4 for me is the greatest modern game and i keep hoping every new title they bring out will rival or better that game. i have yet to see if MoH will be the new Call of Duty (we shall find out on Monday, do you all want to play some MoH on Monday, i'll be on most of the day as i would have finished my exams by then, so if i meet any of you I'll be expecting you have MoH so i can have somebody to show my amazement of it at.) KZ is too different to be considered in the same light as a call of duty franchise. I loved BFBC2 but no one every played it, i added people i hardly knew so i had company in a agame that needs teamwork yet even then the people rarely went on it after that. Call OF Duty is the most successful selling game ever and this means people play it, yes i don't play MW2 and might even sell that game but i still regularly play Cod4 and it still has more people playing that than i ever had on BFBC2. I really want more modern games to play because the connections and other more technical improvements to newer games are so welcome on my part. Dedicated servers for instance made Battlefield so good because i rarely had instances where i was outplayed by somebody with a good connection. The single player of games rarely excites me any more when i could spend hours and days on multiplayer in comparison to a singleplayer campaign that would last 2 hours. The excitement i get from a thrilling clutch on SnD compared to the final moments in MW2 single player, i would take Online any day.
Sorry for the short story but i was bored and felt i could right for a long time. Please don't read all of it as most of it probably doesn't make any sense anyway.

guys, if you look at the Sony showing u would see that he said the PS3 version would be the only console version to be updated by Steamworks and therefore be the best console version.
Funny how much has changed since The Orange Box came out. It's actually a really great compilation and all are spectacular games with very few problems in each title despite the fact that Valve didn't like the PS3 at the time of development and handed it off to EA. Things have changed for the better since and Portal 2 is an indicator of that.
