if u not goig back at ur first big rush u win this game i think... was little too passive them imo! he could recover and u had big advantage when u retreated there
I think you pushed back the inital attack quite nicely. Mau built his barracks carelessy, so you had a chance of crippling him right there. However ithink your unit choice was far from ideal. Angmar profits a lot from hwaldar in this mu due to his eco advantage, so you can usually expect him at some point, which means it's going to be pikes all the way..
That in mind cav seems a wasteful choice; the inital investment is big and doesn't payoff as horses will become obsolete and you are always better off investing in a second barracks and even a third one in this mu as elf imo.
In the meantime you played passive in a decisive phase of the game, waiting for your units to heal up, which again gave mau time to breathe.
That said I still think sorcs are horribly op, when used correctly and mau did use them well.

Just wanna say that I would normally do a Wolf build in this MU as I did in game 2, but since it was my onhost game I thought I'd just try to crack him early with fast 2nd Hall spam. He defended well and his counterattack was good, but it looks worse for me than it was. Once RC expires his army becomes fragile again and I can rebuild no matter what.
Cav are amazing vs Angmar. I'd say pretty much the only thing Elf has going for them in this MU (although I'm ignoring the v7 scalars a bit cause I'm not yet used to them)
ur start was brilliant, nice defense and pretty fine counter attack... games was pretty much over then but u went back:) stay offensive and its gg for sure
