I'm having troubles in this match up everytime, early game goes OK i guess, but later on it's just getting ravaged by mirks, since crossbows are basically shit compared to them. I also couldnt find a way to deal with his cav, i had sharku but still, those elven fuckers seem to be much faster. Ah yea, I also expected dragonstrike to do a little more damage vs his fortress lul
Tips on this mu would be welcome

Dealing with long range archers like mirks is going to be a bit more easy in v7 thanks to ballista and wargrider buffs:
QUOTE

- Warg Rider:
--- Added auto abilty functionality to Howl special ability;
--- crush damage increased to 85 (from 70);
--- un-upgraded slash armour increased to 75% (from 85%);
--- un-upgraded pierce armour increased to 40% (from 45%);
--- upgraded slash armour increased to 35% (from 40%);
--- upgraded pierce armour increased to 20% (from 25%).
[...]
- Ballista (including Fortress expansion Ballista):
--- now deals +50% more damage to all units except Mumakils and Ents;
--- now deals +70% more damage to Mumakils and Ents.
[...]
- Ballista:
--- shockwave radius and magnitude increased to match those of other siege weapons;
--- structure specific weapon nugget damage radius increased to 100 (from 50).

Also extra speed boost for palantir might help to better deal with cav in v7:
QUOTE

- Vision of the Palantir:
[...]
--- can now also be cast on units to provide a 15% speed boost.

Watched it, noticed a few things about your gameplay that gets you in trouble:

-You builded your first 2 RB's in the back of your base. Botb builders had to run quite far before being able to build those. After that you made a third and an uruk pit in front of your base.
I would instead, place your first RB in front of your fort. Basically where your builder is when the game starts.
This move lost you a lot of time. Andy his Lorien Warrior was over half way building, while your pit was just up!
This puts you in a disadvantage.

-Your first unit was a crossbow, for defending I guess, but this gave you no chance to attack/harras.

-You went for a clansteading, which isnt really good vs elf imo. You should have gotten warg riders immediatly to battle his army and kill his resource buildings.

These 3 things that I just pointed out, were (for me) some core reasons as to why you were behind all game.
Maybe this will sound stupid but alot of games are decided in the first 5 mins. Because every little mistake you make will be abused by your opponent.

If you can keep up in the early game you will be in better shape to fight those mirks and cava, he wont have as many, it wont be as easy for him to keep building them, IF you keep him kinda contained (with warg riders for harras and other bats from all sides)
You dont really wanna fight an elf with your army vs his army unless your sure you'll win the battle.

Nearly the whole game, Andy was making the moves, he was attacking, you were defending/following. This makes you lose, I make that mistake too often.

General build order/gameplay:

2RB's, Pit, Uruk warrior, 3rd RB. xbow or pike.
With your first Warrior you should be looking for trees, with warchant they can take it down very fast.
I would then get a 4th RB and go for warg riders or warg packs. to keep harrasing.
From there on I think you should stay on around 6-7 RBs and get sharku or lurtz.
Avoid getting wildmen, they are kinda useless in this MU imo.

Late game vs mirks/cav:
heavy armor is a great deal here, try getting it, your eco should be booming if youre in good shape.
keep harrasing with riders or other units dont fight 1 army vs 1 army unless you win
always try to make an elf player clump his units, use splash from sharku/lurtz(carnage)/saruman(abilities) , use wildmen summon, watcher etc etc
ballistae can also be great if you have the upperhand army wise, move to his base and let ur ballistae fire stuff, keep your army on them, elf will have to face you.

hope this helps a bit maybe kind of a messy comment but whatever

Yea that's good stuff tongue.gif thanks for the reply!
And indeed, i was also doubting if wildmen would do any good in this mu, thanks for the advise on that, they are just too squishy i guess. Should have indeed opted for warg riders earlier, but i always heared they were kinda shit on this patch so yea, didn't really know. Good thing to know is they are getting buffed.

As Cmw_ said, there's a lot of changes being made for v7, that'll benefit Isengard in this matchup. V6 Wargs are a pain in the ass for sure because they're as sturdy as finely processed sheets of paper.
