Ya I agree wildmen are more spammable but die easy lancers and orc archers.Uurks is probably the better start. But, Later game i think mass axe throwers with lurtz LD and Saruman fireball would have been a better option then xbows. My opinion only though.
If you micro your fellbeasts properly, it's not a problem to keep them out of Lurtz's range. And Isengard can have a problem with countering them as a) Crossbows are a very weak counter due to their minute damage and slow recharge rate and b) Axe Throwers are easily killable (fellbeast one hits them even when they're buffed) and only have a short range. Every other faction has archer units that effectively counter fellbeasts by damaging it significantly more than Isengard's units and not perishing in one impact of the fellbeast when they're buffed.
And @ Lethal, that would indeed have been the better strategy than warg spamming. I didn't have the necessary steadings or the time to do so in the game and therefore resorted to the Warg spam though I could have done better.

I liked the warg spam. You clearly kept him on his toes and i think it was the right choice for harrasing. But in the defending department and to get your heroes outta yoru base then axe throwers would have been better.
Completely correct that I lost a lot of Warg Riders - I underestimated the damage the fellbeasts would do to them. But: I took down his economy and quite a few of his buildings and despite the fact that it wasn't a good strat I was pretty close to exactly even with him on the PP count. lol Duality, Wildmen is an optional strategy against Mordor but not necessarily the best. Wildmen get absolutely annihilated by Haradrim Lancers early game and Orc Archers are extremely strong at countering them if used right. And Wildmen ATs don't do very much damage to the fellbeasts (this isn't 2.00 ...) and get absolutely destroyed by fellbeasts, especially if there are two. Yes, Wildmen would have been better to get later game but when he had two fellbeasts, it was pretty much too late for me anyways as Isengard has a very hard time countering fellbeasts, Crossbows sucking against them and Wildmen ATs having been strongly nerfed. Have you ever played this matchup 1v1 in 2.01 yet? If not, maybe try doing so before posting the way you did ...
yes i already played that MU(no need to ask ) and i know that it's not 2.00 but AT are still stronger then Crossbows tbh. Imo AT are much more better then Crossbows 1) cost 250 2) cause more damage then Crossbows to anything, especially to fellbeasts. It always worked to me and i remember my last game against UbEr, i was Mordor and gone for Ork spam and UbEr spammed Wildmen... Well if you all think that going for Uruks is the best start against spam so it is Sorry Sephira and JuanRing maybe the way i posted that post looks a lil bit arrogant we are here to discuss, not for post posts like that one i'm sorry guys
