Starting positions: EaE|UbErMicRo^ - Goblins + EaE|Biakuya - Goblins - North Adelphoi|Adeim - Mordor + Adelphoi|Trasym - Isengard - South
Overview:
Four good players, spamming as much as they can, what more is there to say? The supeior speed and cheap cost of the Goblin warriors caused a problem for the more expensive, but the stronger Wildmen and Orcs. All starting units were just spammed from the start, with most teams introducing a hero at some point. With some good communicating, and nice use of powers, the game was swung from one way to another. Now all thats left to do, is to watch the replay for yourself.
EaE|UbErMicRo^ - Goblins + EaE|Biakuya - Goblins
You both started very well. The similarity of when you bought your buildings and your general build order was amazing. You both had a nice early economy, allowing for a fast 3 cave spam each. Then, you both had your spider pit going up, with about a 4% difference in build time. Your major spamming made it very hard for your opponents, especially the Isengard, to apply pressure on you. This meant that, although neither of you had good economy expansion, you were able to level up your tunnels and were saving money from not having to rebuild. For alot of the game you had the upper hand, with units running around everywhere, yet you never took the Outpost back and even though it was destroyed, you allowed Adeim to hold on to it. If either one of you took this it would have helped majorly. Neither of you seemed to use the tunnel system, which was disapointing, but you seemed to manage alright without it. UbErMicRo, you upgraded all 3 of your caves to level 3, meaning that the amount of goblins you were producing was phononimal! Bikuya, if you had done this as well, you could have had the Isengard stuck even earlier, and with 4-5 batts you could have finished him off in no time. Your hero came too late imo, and UbErMicRo you never seemed to get any heroes. As you had control for most of the match, you could have afforded to get Azog quite early on, crept the lairs and caused some real problems. The way you handled Adeims Industried slaughter house was shear class. Nice scouting from Biakuya, and excellant useage of the becon meant that UbErMicRo knew exactly what to do. You both played a brilliant game, with great clumping and stances, all i'd have to say would be that UbErMicRo, you could use poison more often on buildings. A few times i saw you struggling to kill a building when your Goblins had their posion ready.
Tips for improvement
Try to expand as much as you can. If you had taken the middle and expanded everywhere you could have had this wrapped u in half the time.
Try to get your heroes out earlier, even if you do have the upperhand. Again, this could have won the game earlier for you
Try to look after your builders. I saw two of UbErMicRos builders fall, one of which was very early on.
Biakuya, try to pla your buildlings, especially the caves a bit better. They were a little bit too far away from your fortress. Nothing majorly important but if they were a bit closer it could discourage them from attacking you
Try to attack together more. One well timed attack from you both on one player would have surly finsihed them off quite early.
Right from the start you two looked like you were going to strugle. The speed of Adeims 4 pit spam was great, and the spam that this provided was the key factor that kept you 2 alive. As for isengard, im afraid i cant say the same thing. I've always had problems fending off Goblins with Isen early on and im still not entirly sure what is the best way to do it. You seemed to just spam Wildmen alot, which didnt seem to help as his goblins were too fast. You got your second steadling quite early, and at thi point i would suggest upgrading it and getting some axe throwers as well. Alternativly, you could have gone for Lurtz earlier or even an uruk pit for Xbows instead of the second steadling. There was only minor signs of teamwork from you, but as you were both uder pressure there wasnt much you could do about it. The only really posistive thing about this game was the great Mordor spam, apart from that it was acually quite suprising that you lasted this long.
Tips for improvement
More diversification in units, especially from Isengard.
More pressure from Trasym would have been nice. Everytime you saw some goblins going to your base you would charge 3-4 wildmen over. The best defense is a good offense
Overall Rating:5/10
