Hi there!

This is my first SupCom Ranket replay. I`ve been playin custom games for a long time. Now ,i decidet to play a ranket game. The map was the Artic Refuge. Could anyone review this?

I have these points(i think ,maybe you guys will find more):

AxeMan:

+Building generators first with two mex
+Fast expand
+offense
+lots of factories
+mass storage instead of upgrade
+got t3 bots early
+offense with ACU
+collecting trees smile.gif
-mex were not upgradet
-lost mexs in the beginning
-building too many turrets and no use of them

viandamor:
+Building second base early
+killed my mexs early
+defense
-few factories
-no offense with ACU
-late game he built walls for defense

Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Just a little help with your spelling if I may. Words like "ranket" and "upgradet" are spelled with a "d" at the end, not "t". You wrote "killed" correctly, just follow the same pattern with other words: ranked, upgraded etc. wink.gif Spelling errors aren't really a big deal but these sting the eyes a little.

Would also be wise to point out which of the two players is you, AxeMan or viandamor?

Replays: 12 Game:
Game summary:

Fairly long UEF mirror on arctic refuge. Axeman has the superior economy all over, and pushes viadamor to his half of the map. viadamor is slowly outpaced and must eventually surrender to axeman's t3 land forces.

Note: This is not an extensive review, because I spotted some vital mistakes in both player's gameplay.

Axeman:

+ Nice continuous t1 spammage. Started raiding early with light bots, and built a healthy amount of factories
+ You attacked from all possible sides, good.

- Did you know you could actually upgrade a mass extractor? :-) You didn't upgrade a single mex in the entire game! You could have produced so much more if you had (t1 mex = +2, t2 = +6, t3 = +12!)
- You built storages around your mexes for adjacency. That is good in principle, but it isn't worth it with t1 mexes, since mass storage is quite expensive mass-wise. Build the storages, but do it when your mexes are at least t2. I personally build storage around mexes only when they are t3 already.
- You should really gather more intelligence. If you mix scouts in with your tanks and arty's they can fire on tanks which are outside their visual range, dramtically enhancing their effectivity! With uef and aeon I personally mix in a scout every 2-5 tanks, so I will never be without scout coverage. Also, spend some energy on radar to see enemy things coming.
- Expansion to the top left was a little slow. Could have been faster.

viandamor:

I didn't watch your side of the game as much, but:

+ You had radar coverage on the complete part of the map you controlled. You were therefore able to fight off your opponent with a lot less units than he threw at you.
+ Raided your opponent's undefended mexes. Good, do that even more.

- You should build more factories and units, and build more economy to support them. You were simply outspammed this game.

Game score: 3/10. Both players used ok attack strategies, but made vital mistakes in economy management.

Cheers,
