nice game.

Allthou T2 land would have been so much more usefull. (mobile missile launchers for taking out T2 PD's) instead of going T2 air. cause you already knew he had AA.

But yeah. well played birk biggrin.gif

Nice game, loved the radar placement and the acu pen at the end

Gamesteel did awesome recliaimng, he cleaned his whole side of the map after every battle. This and a greatly timed t2 pd saved the day.

Not enough reclaiming on the cybran side, when you have the numerical advantage and have pushed your opponent back from 50 or so t1 wrecks get them! thats 45 free tanks waiting for you.

No taking advantage of initiative, t2 fac or mex would have been great and the loss of units wouldn't have been noticed when you have 2:1.

Good game well worth a watch.

Well played,

The 0hp radar was funny.
As Cybran u HAVE to mix in some Medusa when it comes down to large t1 battles.

wubbed;)

Wow, Brainsteel reclaimed 17.2k mass compared to Birk's 7.5k. A 10000 mass advantage is enormous.

Nice.

(Also, it's really unfair how Cerberuses can't hit the broad side of a barn. I saw one Cerberus attempt to kill a Lobo for like 15 seconds and only deal 50 damage.)

yea i need to put some engies in my theta BO, like 1-2 on one of the fac just to keep reclaim going...
but i never really get opponents like Brainsteel, i basicly raid so much my opponent is always at a mass disatvantage and then its just over wacko.gif
but Brainsteel knows this sad.gif

Sorry to say, but it was just poor macro on Birk's side.
There were times in the early-mid game where you could've just steam rolled.
Scout ma boy.

Great game. Dr Birks Ur movement and raiding was beautiful early-mid game, forcing Brainsteel to split up his forces and pulling him this way and that, constantly keeping him off balance. Real Sun Tzu style!
The turning point I think came at the 15min mark, you had the iniative and were poised to make a desicive move, but momentarily whent to sleep and allowed ur formations to get eaten away as they sat in position. Then you were on the defensive and it was no longer your fight.
Strat wise, your movement was so good, I think your priority should have been getting Hoplites into the field as quickly as possible...

Honourable mention too for Brainsteel's first shield generator, which was the most beautiful timed unit I've ever seen..
