Ok, I know what I did wrong in the beginning, I totally %&@+/? up my primary BO, but I don't really know what I did wrong afterwards (except for a small energy issue later on).

If you have time, watch the replay and please tell!

I didn't see much here.

There were a few things that I noticed such as hardly any t1 artillery, wasting attacks on his main when you could have gotten his back mexes, also ignoring the southern highland mexes.

There was also a point around the 7 - 10 min mark where you had air superiority and he had no AA. Those bombers could have done some damage, although I admit that I couldn't really see what.

Also I am surprised when you saw he was relying on t2 PD that you didn't start making some MMLs.

Also I was surprised to see neither player grab the centre four mexes, or even launch many attacks over the centre ridge.

That's just from a quick look at the replay.

Hoplites and mobile stealth generators can kill T2 PD in a much better way than MMLs can, the problem was that I didn't get them close enough.

mainly i would say: close combat Hopps without scouting or deceivers. (until 21st min west side). t1 spam eats that.
Maybe a bit faster Mex rebuild

he used the mass you used for Hopps to up his mexes. (73 vs 63 at 19min + the reclaim mass you delivered). you didnt take enough advantage of his teching at that time. in 25th min you just had bit of bad luck, which just delayed the inevitable.
