Hey folks, this is a very tense game between Iaguz (lvl 12 terror) and me (lvl 11 infantry). There are big infantry battles for most of the game. We are both playing pretty well, with good micro and without too much mistakes (he lost his 1st squad at 15:00, I lost my first squad at 25:00).
This was a pretty tough one I'll admit. I don't think Terror was the best choice here though, I needed something that could hold out against the Rangers and out early/mid game nasties that Infantry has. Also, I needed that Pak out quicker, and I shoulda done better with my volks micro (losing like 10 in one nade really hurt. Bad)
Nice game guys. Excellent quad halftrack kiting - makes me want to use them more again. You may not have thought so, iaguz, but your double mortars were murder.
Hmm, double mortars eh? I'ma use those some more methinks...
But yeah, I probably should have tried and scraped together the resources to tech up to T3 or 4 to get something for those Rangers. T2 cannot handle them by itself, Rangers are just too much! I'm actually thinking of trying out defensive and teching a bit more, using FTFL to hold me over in lieu of veterency. Just a thought...
TBH iaguz, I think you should have let those volks die. Utter waste of pop and resources, not to mention free exp for Cheps. Good hard terror grenspam all the way man.
Did anyone see the part where four squads were focus firing on a ranger? Not a scratch for probably 30 seconds!
