Boromir

Cost: 1600
Shortcut: B

Health: Rank 3 - 1520 (increases 90 per level)

Melee Damage: Rank 3 - 55 (increases 10 per level)
Rank 4 - 65

Powers

Leadership:
Required Rank: 4
Description: Gives nearby friendly units a +60% damage bonus. Great way to buff your archers and combos in the middle of a battle.

Horn of Gondor: [R]
Required Rank: 5
Description: Stuns nearby rank 1 enemy units with terror. Unfortunately isn't very useful since most units have banners by the time Boromir is out, but can still be effective against summons.

Captain of Gondor: [C]
Required Rank: 6
Description: Gives the targeted friendly units a small boost to their rank.

Creeping Abilities

Goblins: Never a problem, however this lair is too small to jump Boromir a whole rank on its own.

Wargs: Not too hard either, Boromir can attack each warg consistently and then proceed with the lair.

Trolls: The troll can sometimes knock Boromir over and get a few hits in, but as long as Boromir constantly attacks it he will be fine.

Faramir

Melee Damage: Rank 3 - 70 (increases 10 per level)
Rank 4 - 80

Ranged Damage: Rank 3 - 50 (increases 10 per level)

Powers

Toggle Weapon: [T]
Description: Allows Faramir to switch between ranged (bow) mode and melee (sword) mode.

Wounding Arrow: [W]
Description: Fires a single powerful shot at the targeted unit or hero. This is very useful for finishing off an important enemy hero in the middle of a battle.

Leadership:
Required Rank: 5
Description: Gives nearby friendly units a +50% armor bonus and invulnerability to fear effects.

Captain of Gondor: [C]
Required Rank: 7
Description: Gives the targeted area of friendly units a small boost to their rank.

Creeping Abilities

Goblins: Never a problem for Faramir. The easiest way to handle them is to stay on his horse and trample the goblins, then continuing with the lair.

Wargs: Also easy to take care of, simply shoot arrows at the wargs then mount Faramir's horse to go in and bring down the lair.

Trolls: The most efficient way to handle troll lairs is to use Wounding Arrow on the troll, then finish it off with more arrows before mounting Faramir's horse to take down the lair.

Gandalf the White

Health: Rank 5 - 1800 (increases 100 per level)

Melee Damage: Rank 5 - 140 (increases 10 per level)
Rank 6 - 150

Powers

Wizard Blast:
Description: Blasts back a concentrated area of units. This power is especially useful to protect trebuchets or to take out several battalions of units in one move.

[b]Lightning Sword: [D]

Description: Shoots bolts of lightning out of Gandalf's sword at the targeted area of enemy units. This also works exceptionally well against heroes to damage most of their health or finish them off.

Leadership:
Description: Gives nearby friendly units a +50% armor, +200% combat experience bonus along with an invulnerability to fear effects.

Istari Light: [L]
Description: Shoots a beam of light out of Gandalf's staff at the targeted hero or battalion. Besides dealing a large amount of damage to heroes, it has a nice splash damage effect on units.

Word of Power: [W]
Required Rank: 10
Description: Definitely one of Gandalf's best abilities in his whole arsenal, this power will take out a whole army in one shot with a huge damage radius.

Upgrades

Gandalf the White:
Cost: 2 PP
Description: This passive spell can be bought from the Evenstar to upgrade Gandalf with +300 health, +100% damage. It also recharges his powers twice as fast. This is a very necessary upgrade to Gandalf because he is very vulnerable and weak when Grey.

Creeping Abilities

Goblins: Simply run over the goblins on Gandalf's horse then attack the lair.

Wargs: Gandalf won't lose too much health if you melee the wargs, but the most efficient way to handle them is to use Lightning Sword over the lair.

Trolls: Istari Light will kill the troll in a single shot, hence allowing Gandalf to finish off the lair on his own.


Pippin

Health: Rank 1 - 200 (increases 20 per level)
Rank 2 - 220

Melee Damage: Rank 1 - 20 (increases 10 per level)
Rank 2 - 30

Ranged Damage: Rank 1 - 30 (increases 10 per level)
Rank 2 - 40

Powers

Toggle Weapon: [R]
Description: Allows Pippin to switch between ranged (throwing rocks) mode and melee (sword) mode.

Elven Cloak: [C]
Description: Pippin becomes invisible when standing in place with this ability. This is a very useful way to spy on enemy territory or to hide from enemy units to heal.

Creeping Abilities

Goblins: Pippin will get to around half-health when creeping this lair, but by using sword against the goblins and then bringing down the lair he will get to rank 3.

Wargs: With his low health, Pippin will die if you try to melee the wargs on his own but he can throw rocks at the corner of the lair without the wargs chasing him. Once the lair is down, the wargs will stay in place and you can throw rocks at them before grabbing the money.

Trolls: It is possible to creep troll lairs with Pippin by throwing rocks at the lair when the troll is patrolling the opposite side but it is inadvisable because it is risky and time consuming.
