After almost a month of competition, the World Cup finally has a pair of winning teams. There were a total of 40 teams that participated in the World Cup, which were put into 10 groups to start off the fighting. Teams played as many as 6 games against their opponents in the first round with the leader of each group heading to the Quarter-Finals. As the competition grew, the quality of the games also increased. There were many great battles with many hard-fought victories. After teams played against their opponents in the Quarter-Finals, the top 2 teams from each of the 4 groups advanced to the Semi-Finals. This is when the great teams such as Flame and FA began to shine above the rest of the competition. The 4 teams that won their matches in the Semi-Finals advanced to the Finals.
The Final in the Western Division came down to kork and FA. After two long battles of Gon/Roh Vs. Mor/Roh and Isen/Roh Vs. Gon/Roh, FA (chyna and Xehanort) emerged victorious. In the East, the two teams of Flam3` and Awesome clashed for the title. After their battles, Flam3` (Scop and EleCtRo`StiWie^) were able to take down their opponents and take their prize.
The winning team of each division, FA and Flam3`, fought each other in the championship for the grand title. After 2 great battles, Flam3` outmatched their opponent and claimed the top spot of the tournament. Their replays are shown below.
