Battle for Middle Earth

A very good Gondor vs Rohan on Eastern Rohan, we both played fairly well but my siege was abit shakey, he did some nice attacks on my siege that stopped me getting him 4 quite a while.He used Aragorn well and i used Gandy pretty well i only lost him once at the end which i was happy about. Just a short review thanks.

Starting positions:
Gondor/SammyCheats - Bottom
Rohan/minijnrd - Top

Overview:

Skilled match but pretty one-sided. Rohan failed to quickly gain map control by cheaper and stronger horses than Gondor so he couldn't do ent-rush. And so Gondor gained advantage which he didn't let go. In the end, full Gondor army is too much for Rohan to handle. GG.


Gondor/SammyCheats

Nice game from you. You defended well against peasants. Horse micro was most of the time very good also. You just lost 1 batt rather reckless. Quick upgrades gave you map and fast Gtw. You certanly didn't waste any time and you went fast for outpost as soon as you had combos ready. From there you spammed trebs and it was a gg. I would have given this replay higher rating if Rohan put up stronger fight.

Improvements:

• You lost lvl4 knigths rather careless, watch him.
• Protect your outpost, he got behind you and killed your workshop.
• Careful with that Boromir.
• As soon as you see Aragorn going solo on trebs, LS him.

Rohan/minijnrd

Your peasant spam was decent but unfortunately you claimed none of his farms altough you came pretty close to one. You should have spammed more rohirrim and that was imo biggest mistake here. It's 2 rohirrim vs 3 knigths, not a good deal. You knew you won't be able to pull off ent rush so you bought Eomer in hopes of quick leveling. Put him on auto-fire for easier micro. In the end, you were trapped in your castle where you made you last stand but there is not much Rohan could do at this stage. Rohan must win this match-up in early game.

Improvements:

• Get 3 rohirrim if you can micro them. They are cheap, cheaper than knigths.
• Harass his economy as much as possible.
• Put Eomer on auto-fire, he will be easier to micro that way.
• Combos were a bad Idea against Gandalf imo.

Highlight of the match:
Aragorn killing Faramir split second before he himself died also. Timing baby...

I did but he played very well, btw if any1 was wondering y i gave up on MC its cause i knew id b feeding him PPs and giving Eomer rank 4 so i didnt bother i had enough money anyway.

I might take a look actually but god i hate this map.

-Was an ok game bit frustrating to watch at times lots of sitting around and some silly micro mistakes. Also i don't think you used GTW to his full potential you should always be looking to istari horses on the run which you didn't. Also i reckon an ent rush would have finished you. None the less was quite fun to watch

whoa jordan lost again, and its his favourite MU, i dont think hes gonna be very happy now lol. cant wait to watch will be a great game.

i thought the death of gandy was a bit pointless tho... i think the trebs are really too much for rohan combos to handle and RA Bare only good wit GC tbh. mass elves might have been the best way to go cuz gondor dint have extra attack LD which rape elvess

I had 2 make trebs cause of the fact he had a statue and about the Gandalf thing that was annoying and pretty much unavoidavle cause he had 250% damage on his RAs so he died in like 3 shots .

tbh i didnt play great, but if i had gotten my castle with that peasy at the end i cud of won becuz i had most mc and my ara wud have wiped out the rest of your men. I dont know if u guys saw the peasy it was like 15 steps from the castle

i had trebs guarding the castle i use Manual aim well and with splash damage so big with fire they would have died.
