Battle for Middle Earth

Hi all, I think this is a very good game against an accomplished FoL player on a map which is considered difficult for mordor. It shows a basic bo of orcs and trolls but the point of the rep lies in the strategy of what u do with your units (micro).

a few pointers:
1. Try to be aggressive and get as much units on the field as fast as possible.
2. Use every orc bat to good end, they are the backbone of your army and not to be waisted.

I havent watched it myself but will do and add more comments.

yea timing was everything in this game he got caught up in saving for gandalf. I was quite glad to see you pound my walls in our CW. New mordor style ftw

Never thought gandi wouldn't pop out in time, therefor i didn't make a tower. I thought he would pop out and then just easily own all your trolls ups -> base rush and gg.

Just luck i guess, trolls were way to far from your base to retreat and they would get owned by gandi, gandi in lvl 7 and nothing for you to defense your fort.

Starting positions:
Gondor/Morojelle - Top
Mordor/|GoD|Veermarck - Bottom

Overview:
Gondor went for a HS strat but didn't apply the rush because Topa went for GTW after the HS which was unlucky that he never got Gandi out a couple of towers maybe next time. Mordor went for Trolls turned out to be a gg on the mordor side as they stoped the Knights from harassing properly also stoped Topa from getting GTW out.

Morojelle/Gondor
At the start try not to get confused about building a BS instead of a farm ofcourse u altered this but really lost u a few seconds at the start, nice taking down 2 mills that messed Mordor eco up early game doesnt really matter about losing soldiers as u did take the mills. Pip died easily make sure u watch him aswell because u didnt get the top farm u lost a farm also so u had 4 farms thats all maybe try to send Pip + soldiers to take farms then harass could be better. When your horses came out i saw that u were harassing getting all his mills down before Veer's first troll came out i also liked the idea getting the troll near his mill stealing the lair getting the cash. You didn't take your farms nearest to your base for a very long time u need these to survive vs Mordor to do a good HS rush but even though u got HS u didnt go into his base to try and cripple him a little bit this is a must vs Mordor also running over labs if u can't destroy mills. You lost ofcourse because Gandi didn't come out in time which sucks because i thought that would have been a game winner if he did come out but believe me i've been in these kinds of situations before and there harsh. WP still

Improvements:
Don't get mixed up between a BS and a farm building at the start
Collect all start farms with soldiers + Pip then start to harass
Don't leave your farms for aslong as u did collect them when u can with the 1st horse i think


Mordor/GoD|Veermarck
You managed to take down a farm so Gondor only had 1 farm left out of 3 possible farms but u lost 2 early mills but u recovered quite well from that u did well to get a cage when Gondor had 2 horses but u kept the mills for quite a long time aswell. You used your trolls well for creeping and harassing also chasing his horses away, u did very well to keep your side of the map and u started to push Gondor back abit to give yourself breathing space. You used your orcs very well moving them around the place constant pressure applied by yourself nice attack on the Gondor castle walls which Gtw was due to come out and if he did you would have been in trouble but that wasn't the case. You managed to secure the victory WP!! i can't fault your game play because it was near enough perfect and yes i agree Mordor can win this map if played well like yours.

Improvements:
You played very well i can't comment on any improvements in my opinion

Highlight of the match:
When u broke the castle wall and took the cita down to stop Topa's Gandi from coming out

pretty useless review, gandi out was gg for mordor. Normally i totally own mordor with that pathway, but this time i wasn't paying attention in the beginning.

Had all my attention on my hobbit micro, who even died. Didn't noticed he casted eye, expected him to wait till i had casted so he wouldn't end up seeing his eye getting countered by my land.

Normally i would get his both mills down and build them myself which is very fast gg for mordor.
