Our last game is months ago and was a ROTWC, now we decided to ffg again and it was a great game again w00t.gif I used Taterz' strat. Stupid mistakes ruined the skill level of this game, I'm afraid (leaving gate open omfg frusty.gif ).

A lot of very near moments (knights in black health n1qshok.gif ), losing and rebuilding base, balrog, aotd, eagles ofc.

It was a gg. quite surprised that taterz strat of meleeing pikes seemed to work. but if u added early soldiers in this u would have got more map control and maybe won tbh.

and why doesnt anybody go combos vs isen? they are actually good with boro ld tbh..im sure tgs trebs and combos will cut isen b4 rain. usually isen doesnt get rain vs gon anywayz..

hmm next time i might consider going armour b4 shields. and imma wub this smile.gif

yeah, the meleeing pikes thing works if Isen accepts the fight. But if they just move their pikes away from your knights you wouldn't have a chance to kill them. In this game I didn't need soldiers because I could fight with my knights so they'd only delay gandy.

I'm gonna start a topic about combos, TGs and trebs in Gondor strat forum. Might be interesting.

boro ld = boromir leadership (rank 4)
TGs + trebs = tower guards + trebuchets
rotwc = replay of the week contender
aotd = army of the death

Nice review. I was gona say the best way to stop knights meeling your pikes is to move them back and forth in formation, but you got there before me with your review tongue.gif. I picked it up from reviewing one of majors games, il have a look for the link if anyone wants to see how it works wink.gif

Thanks a lot, great review. I should probably do rax start next time I send initial soldiers through middle. Then I might kill a mill even if he sends his first uruks through middle.
