Battle for Middle Earth

This was a pretty decent game butters and i played today. Micro was pretty decent but nothing special. I think its worth a watch, as it was entertaining to play. O a review would be great aswell.

Rohan/Gondor VS Isen/Rohan

Gondor/Guardian
PP Progression:
Heal>>Gandi>>elves>>eagles>>AOD
Starting BO:
2 farm start with fast knights and fara

Pros:
Decent early game harassment with knights
Fara got over rank 5/Gandi rank 10(good useage of gandi’s powers)
Saved gandi from dieing after being pinned in isen base
Killed Saruman twice/Lurtz around 4 times/Theo 3 times
WOP’d whole isen army when butters was being attacked

Cons:
No HS rush
Ran knights into pikes/didn’t spread out when attacking isen base
Didn’t get EW when isen used land and you had 5 PP
Got SW
No harassment at all
Bad eagle use with first summon(use when you’re whole army is attacking)

Rohan/Butters
PP Progression:
Draft>>heal>>anduril
Starting BO:
2 farm start with 4 extra peasants being built

Pros:
Decent peasant spam early to stop 3 uruk start
Fast upgrades
Good rohhirum micro all game, didn’t lose 1 unit till right before they quit
Killed ara+theo+eomer along with whole rohan army when they attacked you
Got GC/defended both attacks nicely with decent teamwork

Cons:
Lost peasants to cave troll
Left your peasants in the middle of game out in the open and they died to rohhirum
Lost all of your combos to 1 rohhirum fighting in isen land
Didn’t use ara when Guardian was attacking middle
Micro:4

Match comments:
Throughout the game it seemed like you guys were treating it as 2 1vs1’s. You 2 really didn’t help each other or work together at all until you were being attacked. If you worked together throughout the game, and kept armies together you would have had a much easier time. You micro was pretty good for most of the game considering you didn’t lose units until later on. You guys seemed like you wanted them to attack before you did anything. You should try being more aggressive when they have middle. Letting them build up that big of an army late game was not smart. You were lucky you had WOP. GJ on pulling through in the end to get the win, they had just about every advantage possible for most of the game.

Pit start with 3 mills to 3 uruk spam

Pros:
Built extra workers/got 3 mills(used workers to kill peasants)
Fast armory
Pinned gandi twice/rank 3 lurtz
Worm tongued rohan GC’d army
Got middle with little resistance

Cons:
Bad chant timing
Mis-fired with lurtz
Never gave back to farms to rohan for better eco
Lurtz died about 4 times along with saruman dieing once
Late pikes
Micro:4
Strat: 5

Rohan/Rammschwein
PP Progression

Starting BO:
2 farms inside with 1 outside, spammed a few extra peasants to defend against soldier rush

Pros:
Fast creeping
Protected partner well
Good harassment

Cons:
Lost a lot of rohhirum units to various things
Lost theo 4 times/eomer twice/and ara once
Lost whole army to gandi trying to save partner
Cash floating during parts of the game
Micro:4
Strat:3(Seemed like just unit spamming to me)

Match Comments:
You guys worked very well together, even better then Guardian and Butters for most of the game. You just couldn’t finish it off after you broke through the wall. You rushed in way too soon. If you sat back and let your ballistas hit archers and then attacked when rohan army was weaker, you would have had a better chance of winning. Need to work on your micro and PP use, considering your chants were a bit late along with heals every time (even though this could have just been lag). You guys did well to get middle easily and continuously build up armies and keep pressure. Just had trouble sealing the deal.

Thx man ownage review. yeah we were really just messing around since we thought they were noobs. And kindof got serious around mid game lol. And i didn't want cash floatage so i got stoneworks.

Btw you don't have to give each person an individual review, just an overall team one.

Me and Guardian would have destroyed these 2 in 10 seconds probably
