Battle for Middle Earth

pretty nice game between me and van, was wondering what i should of done differently, still learnin isen
i skip warg cause i was expected fast gtw when i saw his bo and if he had fast ups which would of killed my wargs easy

i have to beg for feedback?

Overview:

Both players showed good skill during the mid to late game, but it was the beginning that plagued Gondor. An extremely passive early game for Gondor let Isen take the whole map, which he never lost. While Isen could have been creeping better and locking down the map, Gondor managed a great horse shield rush. If there had been more harassment before and after that it may have been a different game.

Gondor's early game should be very aggressive. Had you gone with a 2 soldier rush over the top and used EW as your power you would have forced Isen to be more defensive in his play, which is key. You let him take the whole map, which is the only reason you lost this game. Your hrush was awesome, but before that and after harass mills more, try to get MC back. Make sure you hold Gandalf back far enough in fights as to not get crippled, and be careful with your knights trying to micro them through all the combos. Go hit the back if you can, because there's no pikes there.

• Get EW as power and be aggressive with soldiers.
• Use horses to harass more between base rushes.
• Careful Gandalf/horse micro during big fights.
• Take control during early game so you don't have to fight for it later.

LAL|Maverick

Not a lot to say for your early game. He gave you the map and you took it, so good job. Pike micro could have been a little better during the middle game. Try to creep faster, too. You gave him a lot more creeps than he should have had. Use zerk/pike combo or xbows, but try to get more PP's.

• Pike micro vs horses, move and switch formations fater.
• Creep more, especially when you have so much MC.
• Delete towers ASAP so his horses don't rank up.
• Guard ballistae, keep combos all around.

and its hard to micro pikes perfect without your host i was too slow tho ^^
