ill have to argue that the horse shield rush was bad. when i lost the 2 horses it was pretty ugly but when i got 2 more up id say i did some nice damage Also i think i had PLENTY of trebs
I think the main mistake here was losing those 2 horses so early, i was quite upset at how horrid that was. I had to rebuild stable just to get a harrassing force back up and also i let the warg own my farm at the beginning ;/ Gandalf could of easily been saved the second time and perhaps the first but hopefully the isengard is good enough to at least do something and kill him once =D
thx for review

3 things to add: Gondor: 1. Bad placement of market 2. Imo getting blades this early is not a good idea. (It would loose to ramrush) 3. Lost farm to wargs at start. (You can call it unlucky if you want, but I won´t, the fact is that that middle farms builds slow)

Good play by both Stridah and Pilbots even though there were some mistakes.
Stridah could of taken early game advantage by simply ram rushing Pilbot's Bladed and Market build. But then again, that would of went against your "containment" strategy.
Pilbot's Gandalf micro and WB placement was a bit off. He could of rushed Gandalf after Market because there was CLEARLY no indication of siege tactics. Even though Pil lost Gandalf twice, nearly 3 times, it was very nice to see Gandalf finally reaching lvl 10.
Another thing to point on for all Gondor players is that you only need 5 BS and Workshop in base. That leaves you with 5 BS, Workshop, Market, Well (or a BS), and the last spot SHOULD be for Stables. Notice Pilbot's cash float the entire time. A 10% decrease in income for a quicker horse reponse is a must have. That would of devastated Stridah must faster as his left containment wall broke many times. A quick push with 3+ bats of forged horses would of destroyed his entire left expansion along with half of his base (if Pilbots kept pushing). Sadly, Pilbots didn't have the units (knights) to make that blow.
Very good game none the less and I strongly recommend this replay for our last GOLD contender in 1.02. Truely a replay rival of that GOLD game I had against BaLL; Gondor vs Isen. This is highest I ever rated a replay in BfME history. Hats off to both players.

You should allways delete stables after HS imo, no more knights are needed! so 6 BS in base!
Thx for review. Thx for the feedback guys. Couple things bout the review. I'd have to argue the scores are a little low, even for me, lol. I know my strat wasn't a 7/10 when you consider the fact that most of the other isens wouldn't even cause pilly to break his stride, whilst I actually appeared to be 'in control' of the game for awhile, i'd say up until he completley destoyed my siege momentum with my damn mines going up in smoke. My micro was 6.5, off of what standard? His horse micro was 9/10 imo, his strat was at least 8/10, and would have been perfect with an earlier gandalf, which I was expecting. Thx for your time regardless, appreaciated.
