Director's Cut Patch for RotWK

What is the RotWK Director's Cut Patch?

This Director's Cut patch was made by the members of GameReplays.org for everyone to play, and brings BFME II 1.05 gameplay to RotWK. RotWK was based off of BFME II 1.04, which means many players preferred to stick with BFME II, as 1.05 has much greater depth. Now, DC Patch has pushed RotWK's potential to it's fullest, and taken it where EA never did.

How to play the Director's Cut Patch

Once you've downloaded the patch, you have to install it. The installation is very easy, it detects the file where your RotWK is installed. This means all you got to do is sit back and press 'next' at the right moments. NOTE: This patch recently has had an improvement, giving the users the opportunity to either play the official EA version or the RotWK DC Patch version. To make this work, Windows XP users will need to install Microsoft .NET Framework. If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, you don't have to worry about installing .NET Framework, because you already have it.

Features

Some major improvements from the current version of Rotwk:

- The AI has had major improvements
- Balance
- Over 150 Bugfixes!
- Angmar Powertree reorganised
- Ability to build walls anywhere
- CaH and Wotr have had vast improvements
- Has been translated to more than 6 different languages!
- And many, many more!

Any feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are welcome!

The new units/Angmar can't proceed until Maddox gets back in town and has a chance to review our design doc, so be patient smile.gif

I'll try to do a change-log sometime smile.gif

You do know that this file has like 0,0000000000000001% of getting a final EA version without an extremely detailed changelog right?
Every single change you did has to be addressed there.

Yes, but getting EA to make this official was never my intent tongue.gif A change-log won't be difficult as all changes are currenty those already documented.

You guys are awesome, I really hope EA is pay even one seconds worth of attention here, for their game saving patch is being made, and all they have to do is put it through their system and put their names on it and we have a good game again,

well for me it is the 1.05 patch with all the older unit´s stats
but the changes didn´t worked for the new units and hereos at least for dwarves

also some changes i don´t aggree to(hope it´s correct to post them here):
first brand: give him damage LD not armor
you´ve to keep him permanently at the front lines to give his LD to your melee units which need it more most of times than ranged units

norldor warriors: they are already good enough with theire uber range and ranged attack possibilities also can insta kill riders in sword mode--so no armor increase
