Are these together? As I read it, the ketten can (roughly) still detect snipers while cloaked at the same distance, despite the changes.

this is probably to keep PE players from crying their eyes out when the US player spams snipers and they realise they shud've gone luftwaffe.... good change imo
EDIT: ARe u sure updated this? I remember there were some changes that were revereted. it seems liek some of those are still mentioned here. The reverted changes should be removed. i will check again tomorrow, but are u sure u removed the reverted changes as well?

I'm pretty sure I'm not senile, so I'm quite sure I kept updating it Then again, with so many copy/paste operations, it's quite possible that I missed something. Please let me know if you find any errors.
Hey, just wanted to mention two errors in this change log. One was human error by the OP, the other is a Relic error.
"- The Churchill Crocodile's attack ground function now uses its tank gun instead of its flamethrower."
This one should be in Commonwealth fixes, not U.S.
"- Panzerfaust does increased damage vs Bren Carriers. Will destroy standard Bren carriers with two shots."
This is very important. This is an error on Relic's part - Panzerfausts actually deal decreased damage vs Bren Carriers, at least when comparing version 2.505 to 2.301. I don't know if they fixed this in later betas, so someone else needs to confirm this. However, I believe it's likely this was never fixed, or this was intended all along and Relic made a typo on the change log.

There are quite a few anomalies with skirts, some ally tanks ignoring the buffs, others not.
Interestingly, the Pershing HVAP have the 0.9 damage modifier, but the penetration modifier is that of the Pershing without HVAP, which means that against skirted targets, HVAP does nothing.

Since it's in the balance playtest discussion, it's for the balance playtest beta. And yes, it is out. Also, this will become a retail patch before ToV comes out.
1. There are some changes listed in this thread which is missing from the 2.400 patch notes.
Just a few examples:
Where are all the new maps, like Red Ball Express or Duclair? Does this mean that they only come with ToV?
- Fixed a bug where the AI was not able to build structures in (4) Lyon. - Fixed an issue with mods loading. CoH will now default to the Company of Heroes module.
2. There are changes listed which are only really changes to a previous beta state, so those who have not followed the beta process won't know how it relates to 2.301 retail.
For example:
- Sniper veterancy does not block out the camouflage ability anymore. - The firefly no longer uses the Sherman vehicle wreck.
If I'm not mistaken these bugs were introduced earlier in the beta, than got fixed in a later beta patch. They have no relation to 2.301 at all.
3. This is just a minor inconvenience, but there are a few new changes from the latest beta (2.510), but since they are buried in a wall of text, it's not easy to find them. Any chance for a 2.510beta -> 2.400 changelist? For example:
- 105mm Howitzer Barrage ability's firing cone reduced by 68% and range reduced by 9%. - Tuned automatch to adjust skill ratings faster when players beat much higher rated opponents. - Fixed memory leak inside the network library when posting game results to the server.
