lol Seb ... You are spending your time at making Shoutcasts, that's a nice initiative and some vids here are pretty decent imo but GO FIND A JOB ... With no moneys you couldn't come one week-end at Liege to get drunk all day long.
Its like zidan comments on canal plus atm (for the people who know what i am talking about ) something like this :
haha exactly

You should be the analyst and have a play by play caster to commentate with you.
That's what is coming from this thread it seems, I'll definitely give it a try. I'd still like to be able stuff on my own though.

like i said before i used to shoutcast EU/Nations cups for other games so if you need any tips or someone for a duel cast with give me a shout.
You can always listen and give me tips, but yeah I'm pretty sure the tone I use is the main prob, and I can only fix it by practicing. That makes already lots of dual casts to do on my list.
Kidding Seb, kudos for asking help in public and there is definitly improvement! Personally I prefer a bit more of entertainment, but for improving the play of people this is great.
DevM vs Seph was quite enjoyable imo. I noticed halfway in that I saw the game on Seph's stream, but that doesn't matter. And I also LOL'd at "DevM on souce" XD
Anyways, In the beginning, if your finding that there isn't much to talk about, just go through usual build-orders, how you like to play it, strats and capping orders on that particular map. Mid-game your doing very good in my opinion. You talk almost non-stop (which is good), you give your insights on the game. What I'm sort of missing though is some thoughts on what could have been done better, why DevM won, where sepha went wrong and so on.
And always, when you haven't got much to talk about you can always talk about yourself, how you like to play the map, what strats you use and why you like them. Also what you would have done (like midgame for example). Inverse does this a lot, it's really great for the listeners as well since you learn a lot from it. Don't forget your a legend .
Keep it up, Sebmeister (lovin' your accent btw )

I think if you want to do more analysis than typical commentating/shoutcasting, you could always watch the replay at 8x beforehand, as long as you do it alone. You can make some notes so you know what to talk about and if you're doing the camerawork and commentating yourself and on your own, you can then go with 8x through the boring parts and use 1x or even pausing if you have something to talk about. Of course, watching the replay twice is maybe a bit boring and you're limiting viewer freedom even more when the viewer is forced to miss some things because 8x.
I wouldn't worry about that however, since "traditional" shoutcasts already fill the role of "replay+" but there is a bit of a lack of proper analysis.

I didn't watch it before, but I just went x2 when there was nothing interesting going on, and put x1 when I wanted to say something. I think it should already be better this way.
I also tried to give a bit more stuff about what I'd do, but since I usually don't have a plan before going into a game, it's kind of hard.
