Watched Ted last night, the film has its funny moment but some stupid narrative fails, so ★★★
I also watched Into the Wild, and that movie was just amazing, I should watch it a few more times to understand all the motives and motivations and so, but it was just such a moving film where you really have to think the whole film over again after you saw it. I also really like the way in which it deviates from Hollywood films but I won't spoil everything and I'm certainly gonna watch it again! The music was also great! ★★★★★
Just watched into the wild because of your recommendation. Cant believe that this real happened. (the part with Kristen Steward was a bit unrealistic if you know what i mean )

Watch Generation Kill. Seven episodes (≃1 hour) about invasion of Iraq. Not lots of action like the other HBO war miniseries, but the characters are fucking awesome. It's actually more of a comedy, but a true story. Fruity Rudy is even played by himself...and it's not gay if you think he's hot

Okay, if you watched The Wire you should defo read this Maybe also send it to your gf janis
Few things you should know:
Foucault was a famous French philosopher who wrote a lot about society, ideology & discourse, and (public) power. He used a famous prison model, the panopticon; prisoners never knew if they were being watched or not and thus always behaved as if they were being watched and so obeyed the rules and stuff, to describe the current society and the way it surveillanced her citizens.
Another french philosopher, Beaudrillard came up with the term simulacrum, a hyperreality. Here the representation of the real takes over the fuctions of the reality and eventually becomes more real than reality itself. In this situation it means that the reality The Wire displays of Baltimore (in the fictive serie) is for a lot of people more real than the actual city of Baltimore itself.
I watch it in german aswell , german sync is top notch most of the time. It does not suck , only when its like a low budget project , but everything that runs on a major tv station is fine
Never! besides, it just sucks so hard to see someone say something while there's no actual voice, or u recognise what he says but in the dubbed version they say something totally different...

something like this hardly happens, well maybe if you realy analyse movies , but when u just wtach them , you wont really see this , at least not at a good german dubbing
i say that because its good . there are momvies with bad dubbing , but you wont see such at primetime or anything. And I doubt you can really judge that anyways . Imo as said above german dubbing is top notch most of the time
i dont think he looks like tim at all
